Nice demonstration Alex Ive never been a fan of FCA, as their quality and durability have been pretty bad historically, but Im thoroughly impressed with this new Ram, based on what Ive seen so far. I wonder if it will finally offer real competition to the best selling F-150, but only time on (and off) the road will answer that question. Good job FCA

No more competitive automotive market than in US pickups. There is a lot of great work being done today, especially because these manufacturers make so much coin off each unit. Itd be a tough choice if you dont have a solid allegiance to a manufacturer.

Glad Ram stuck with V8s and a mild electric drive unit rather than pussify a full size truck with a Asian boosted V6 or a boosted Asian four banger. Why not twin charge a V8 with the mild hybrid drive?

Make frame lighter than hang weights from it? Air pump mounted directly behind rear tire? Coolant lines for rear axle hanging underneath it? Is Fiat doing Ram engineering now?

Alex, I think creating video reviews instead of print reviews for pickup truck buyers is a wonderful idea since most of them cant read. Well done, I say

the numbers (towing 12, 700/payload2300/mpg)will tell the story if all this and the costs associated with it are worth it to the consumer.

If its the same TCase as before then its a sissy city truck, dont even dream of going on grass, never mind a windy snow covered driveway.

But the big question is will the RAM finally get a good rating with the IIHS or will it continue to perform poorly? #smalloverlapcrashtest

i really like getting an engineering perspective without all the trim. its this stuff that differentiates between ford, gm, and ram.
