Despite claims to the contrary, the CT5 is very much a weener sedan, and thats OK with me. The ATS was too small, so was the CTS in many ways but the CT5 on teh other hand solves all that with 5-Series sizing and a price tag expected to be more 3 than 5. Toss in handling dynamics that are likely to be among the best in the segment and the new CT5 should be a solid competitor. If you e looking for a roomy cabin, theres a Caddy for that

Cts & Ats replacement you say Not even close I dont know what their smoking at Cadillac but its gotta be illegal This in no way shape or form can replace two of the greatest attempts, successful attempts I might add of really & finally competing with the Germans on their own playing field & then you just hand over the paton 3/4 near the end of the race & forfeited your title What is really going on here? This Ct5 is not going to cut it ppl it does not fill the void that the Cts & Ats did all so well It lacks aggression (especially side profile) & boldness with a touch of elegance, thats what made the Cts & Ats (v series) so special & appreciated This model just proves how dedicated & consistent you guys can not be period Your trying to copy BMW & Infiniti in this latest design The headlights running into the grille al BMW & the chrome kink near the rear pillar design is Infiniti inspired, the infotainment screen is following everyone elses design theme of follow the leader which is not what Cadillac does (until now anyway) what happened to Lead Follow Or Get Out Of The Way mentality? This is not going to cut it in this particular forn, now if theres a V model coming soon then only time will tell if it can compete directly with the Germans & even Lexus But hope Im wrong but I truly doubt it

Cadillac you lost your way and its time to come back to the way you use to be and stop trying to be a Mercedes or BMW, its not working for you. Also Cadillac, you need to stop trying to get the Mercedes and BMW buyers, if you havent captured that market of buyers by now, its not going to happen. Cadillac, go back to being a Luxury Car again like you were in the 50, s - 90s, and go back to naming your cars and stop using letters and numbers. Would be nice to see Cadillac build bigger luxurious cars again.

Cadillac needs to put the covers back on. Butt ugly. This is supposed based off of the Escala? Maybe if I squint really hard in bad light with 3 drinks in me, but no. Meek looking headlights & taillights violating the design ratio. Clear cost cutting for both the exterior & interior. At least CUE is no longer. But the way they cost cut the D pillar with plastic kills it. Fake hatchback look, why? Make a real hatchback. Go look at how the Germans handle that.

For all people complaining about the C pillar, you have to understand from their business perspective. CT5 is clearly a compromise when they ditched ATS and CTS. Designers have to comply with finance department with costs. Obviously, if they increased the starting price, they could have put real window on a C pillar. However, project managers had to meet the starting price goal so this is what it ended with.

I saw this car at the NYC Automobile Show. Not crazy about the styling from the B-Pillar to the back. C-Pillar is rather UGLY Rear deck is real short, looks like the trunk is small (but well see when the specs are released. Cadillac stylists have missed the boat again. They need a Coupe, as in a 2 door, not a 4-door Coupe, regardless what the stats say, build a freakin Coupe.

This car is within a half inch of the 5 series. In what sense does the person that did this report think the CT5 is a tweener? The fact is that its not a tweener. People should stop promoting this bit of misinformation. CT6 is a direct competitor to the 5 series BMW and E class Benz. Pricing will likely be similar as well.

Im not sure why Cadillac is saying this is a tweener vehicle. Its wheelbase is longer than the current midsize CTS. And the new CT4 is coming out, which will be smaller than the CT5. And sure its base price will be around the ATS, but a fully loaded one Im sure will be near 70 grand. That being said, I do like it a lot.

CTS BROUGHT THE COMPANY BACK, CT5 IS GOING TO DESTROY IT. WTH IS CADDY THINKING? THE PROFILE IS DISGUSTING. FRONT LOOKS GOOD. THE BACK LOOKS LIKE I ABSOLUTELY COULDNT WAIT FOR THIS VARIANT TO BE AVAILABLE BUT SEEING IT ON VIDEO ILL NEVER BE BUYING OR SPECING ONE OUT LIKE MY CURRENT 14 CTS- CADDY OWNER SINCE THE 90s

This is a great looking vehicle. I so hope they get this one right? General Motors has a habit of creating promising designs and completely blowing execution. I was so annoyed with the Volts Caddy twin Such a great looking small Caddy. They should have tossed a turbo 4 in it and sold it for 50 grand

I love caddy, one of my last car was ATS. to change a headlight light bulb, dealer quoted 675. 00 w/ labor because bumper has has to come off before one can change a light bulb. Got so mad drove over to Honda dealer and got a Honda Accord 2. 0T. Ride quality is nothing like Caddy but worry free.
