ilwol1004: I would say, Kia K900 is one of the precursors of entry level of luxury flagship sedans. Hyundai and Kia built their flagship sedans like old Equss, K900, and even G90. Why cant Toyota or Honda, and the other mainstream brands? They all have ability to build their own flagship under their brand name. Well, Toyota first introduced LS460 almost over 20 years ago in the name of Lexus. And they used to sell those in Japan in the name of Toyota Celsior. Volkswagen also have built Phaeton. In luxury midsize sedan market, we have Mercedes E class, BMW 5 series, Audi A6. In mainstream market, we have Toyota camry, Honda accord, Nissan Altima. In luxury flagship sedan market, we have Mercedes S class, BMW 7 series, Audi A8In mainstream market, we have Volkswagen phaeton, Hyundai Equus, and Kia K900 ( I would say. Near luxury sedans)Well not many people buy those main stream markets luxury sedans because they can spend on other midsize or compact luxury vehicles. I think K900 is for people who wants to experience somewhat similar to large flagship sedans performace with much lower price. People who fall in love with K900 will buy this car, because they want to Sorry for my bad English skills.

I traded in my 5-series for the Cadenza and have been very proud of Kia and where they have came to. Many people complain because it does not say BMW or Mercedes-Benz on the internet but thats just because they lack the swag and confidence to tell someone what they drive. When I go to events and step out of my Cadenza, it always turn heads and people love it and always ask to check it out. When the K900 comes out with this model, I will be sure to go for this one. The rarity of these vehicles is what I love I can ride in luxury and get more stairs than I did in my 5-series since it is so rare For those who love to have a unique car, I highly recommend it as it is also very reliable. Of the 3 years Ive owned my Cadenza, Ive only been to the dealership for its routine maintenance. Great job Kia

Hi Alex. I liked the 1st Gen but I love the 2nd gen. The matte wood the interior looks really nice. I know its not omg looking but I like the conservative look. Would I buy one yes I would because I like that u wont see many of these and I like if they sell this with no options. Love the 12. 5 inch screen and I love the price and especially the used car price. Its an incredible deal price and quality. Especially with awd u cant complain. Many own BMW and Mercedes and Audi but not many will own a k900 which I will like better. Plus I know this car will be reliable. Germans not so much.

Alex, Kia could boost sales tremendously by just altering the name. Call it the KLS, standing for Kia Luxury Sedan. No one wants to go to a party and be asked what kind of car you drive, and you have to answer K900. As long as it has that K9 sound in it, it will be a dog joke. No one wants that humiliation for a car that costs north of 60k. Its a nice car and the looks are kind of nostalgic in a pleasant way. The all 4 wheel drive feature is a great idea. Maybe I will email Kia about the name change. They are a great company, but the name is death for sales.

I have been a fan of Kia for quite sometime, so my opinion is biased. I think, though, that dropping the V8 is a big mistake. For this car to really compete with the big boys it will need a V8. It is absurd that they are using the same tt-V6 as the Stinger. I hope they rethink this. I also have high hopes for the Telluride: an interior similar to this would be stellar but, again, both the K900 and the Telluride NEED the Genesis G90 V8 in order to really compete with the alternatives out there.

I personally like this vehicles interior better than the g90 since it looks more modern than that vehicle. I have read people calling the exterior bland and such but that is kind of what I like about it. Maybe it is just my personality but if I was well off I would not want to draw as much attention to myself as a Benz, Audi or lexus might bring me. If it is slightly more fuel efficient than the last model I am sold.

I dont dig the new look. Its somehow both cheesy and plain looking at the same time. As for KIA selling luxury cars, they wont get any traction unless they would be willing to split the brand and dealerships. Current KIA dealers are some of the worst when it comes to buying experience. If I am coming in looking to spend 60K+ on a car, dont treat me same way as you treat your typical penniless customers

The K900 is seriously unattractive. One can understand they were trying to do something creative with the headlamps, but they failed miserably. The grill looks similar to the old tiger one, but smashed in. And of course, I personally do not like white cars. It makes it look like a kitchen appliance. The interior, like you said, steals from everyone. Get a 5-Series or an E-Class and be happy.

The front looks bland, but the back looks reminiscent of the Mercedes and Bentley mixed in. the interior to me looks very elegant and luxurious, though they should have opted to a more powerful engine (V8 turbo) as an option for the fact that this is a flagship sedan. Last, Kia has GOT to really update their logo. the K badge on this vehicle would look much more prestige.

Very nice looking interior, but really ugly exterior especially the headlights and the grill. KIA exterior used to be very amazing (even the outgoing model, as well the Cadenza, optima. etc. , but they started to lose it(KIA just dropped the ball on this design)Im disappointed and was looking forward to this car but now looking elsewhere: ( sad
