It passes the Teslas model3 310miles Longrange car in range with 250miles? in what kindergarten world backwards is forward? Tesla has not started producing the standard 220miles range car yet, that may be end of this year or early 19. And BoltEV is known to hit up to 260miles so, until someone actually does 250 in this, im taking this with a grain of salt, considering aerodynamics on this are as bad as on my fat ass. And can u please get the stats right, it is not better than a Bolt(BoltEV-119mpg) with 117, it is not better than a m-3 with 126mpg but fueleconomy. gov rates m-3 at 130mpg. The least u can do is get the numbers right of the cars that are already out, and not look like ignorant jackasses. I especially like the headlamps in the bumper, every granny and idiot on the phone texting on a parking lot that touch bumps the car will cost u hundreds of dollars to fix, instead of just a scuff mark, Brilliant design there (eye roll.

That Jeep Cherokee was a product of industrial espionage. The deisgn with the upper separates DRL was introduced by Citroen years before on various concept vehicles and eventually saw full production status. Hundai jumped on the wagon alongside Fiat and others to do so. Jeep Cherokee had absolutelly nothing in common with any previous Jeep language, and if that grill would be very slightly altered, one could use any number of logos on that suv. It looks like a Citroen, a Hyundai a Kia or anything else, but NOT a Jeep. Thus it was a product of industrial espionage. Furthermore, not even the USA market rejected it, so clearly it was not a request by target audience, and thus somehow try to explain why it was made so radical.

I love it. So happy to see more and more long range (200+ miles per charge) EVs are coming to the mass market at affordable prices. I cant wait for some real world reviews and pricing. I just wish public fast charging stations are available in more places. Even better, I wish Tesla will license out their Supercharger technology and charging stations to allow EVs of other brands to use them. for a fee of course.

FAIL on the name and outer shell. Anyone spending double and going EV wants something that sets them aside from all the others. Should have given it another name and changed the outer styling. i. e If Chevrolet has the Sonic & SonicEV good luck selling that. Now, take the Sonic add in a 20K battery making it cost double. but give it a different name and out shell styling and watch the sales roll in

What I dont get is these car manufacturers such as BMW, VW Group, MB, Hyundai, Nissan. have enormously more experience and money than Elon Musk and yet none of them come close to the range Tesla cars have, i3, e-Golf. all do 80-100mi while Tesla Model 3 does 310mi per charge. What the hell? You have billlions at your disposal, can you not invest some money into researching/developing batteries?

Only in Cali? And then only in states that follow CARB rules? The way the US EPA is currently going, Kona will never reach the east coast Auto manufacturers should sell their EVs in all states or not be considered serious about their EV plans. This is the good thing about Chevy Bolt: you can get one anywhere, so hats off to GM for that (if not for lack of investment in charging infrastructure.

UGH why cant car manufacturers put the charging port on the side of the car like the Chevy Bolt and Tesla Model 3? Why does the Nissan Leaf and Hyundai Kona Electric have the charging port on the front of the car. Doesnt Nissan and Hyundai ever think what will happen if you get into an accident? Getting rammed from behind and hitting another car will damage the charging port.

I should have known. This car sounded so good throughout the whole presentation until the end when they said its only coming out in California. Most likely theyre not allowed to sell cars in California unless they have some kind of electric car available there. at least Nissan, Chevy and Tesla actually seem to want to contribute to some change in this world.

Tesla just pissed away their lead. This is what many people have said would happen. Tesla in the beginning had a huge lead and slowly but surely the rivals wood catch up. No keep in mind this is just one company. Theyre going to be many many many more. Theyre going to offer 250 to 300 mile range and this pretty much sucks the air out of the Tesla Model X sales.
