Ford s new Ranger is here with more of everything: more power, more capability, more LCD, more towing, more engine options and more of a whole lot more. MyassesDragon: The Raptor Ranger has 400hp, but that's not the full story. Within the engine's computer settings is a high output program that will hold the boost waste gate closed for an extra 10 seconds giving the engine over 500hp for those 10 seconds. Rumours say this extra power will give the Raptor 0-62mph in the 4 second range and the 1/4 mile in sub 13 seconds. You don't have to get expensive aftermarket tuners costing thousands, the dealer can do it by accessing the engine computer settings and just activating the H/O with a click of the mouse.

For whatever reason the regular versions look a little dowdy, much prefer the GM twins or the upcoming Tacoma (based on renders. That being said the Raptor looks much more badass, but I guess that's expected.

The Frontier is definitely not inexpensive. If you go to the lots to see what s available a base extended cab Frontier is 32k, the quad cabs were running around 37 to 43 k, the 4WD top trim was 48k

I would still prefer an F-150 but the Ranger will likely be the budget friendly choice.
Hybrid in the Ranger would be good, as would a PHEV Ranger and PHEV Maverick.

I love your reviews but I just don't think that this vehicle has a place in our market. It's costs about the same as the F-150. why not get the bigger one?

Next year will be the year for tiny trucks when all the competitors come out with their truck to compete with Maverick. That will be super interesting.

I really want Toyota to come out with a smaller truck than Tacoma to compete with the Ford Maverick. That's what I'm interested in
