While that is true, if you put it in track mode (which allows some slip, as the xkr has dynamic suspension and limited slip in this mode) and you use the padel shifters, it still maintains the power off the start as you work the rpms. Granted, I don't argue the speed of your gorgeous cobra. I simply state perhaps the driver of the jag was not used to driving it to its full potential. :)

No speed shifts or he would have been further ahead. The Cobra and the Sebring have been my favorite cars since high school, they beat Ferrari so bad that when there was a race in Ferrari-s home town, the Fords weren-t allowed to compete.

Tell you jag haters what, I'll modify my XKR like that Cobra has been built/modified and then we'll see who wins. while drinking a cup of coffee and listening to music since the jag is waaaay more comfortable. :)
