i agree with you concerning the top three. But. i think cooper s is the fastest in straight line cause its is lighter and has a shorter gear ratio that the corsa. Dont get excited by the difference in hp on paper. Cooper s and corsa has almost the same power with corsa being abit better in numbers but with cooper being definitely better in dyno graph. Both engines rock in my opinion. Where cooper s is definitelly better than corsa is on handling

I duno about vxr having 17s fitted I have the 18- on mine an handles right well. Think problem wit this review is that the cars are too quick for the driver. He says he likes the swift and it feels -friendlier- I tihnk this means that he can handle driving it better. I dont think he can keep up with the others surprised he didn't bin it. Corsa VXR all the way!

yes we don't but personally i like the feeling of driving the fastest car(on the track). it gives you a bit of a boost while driving casually because you know that if you want(and you are able) you can go as fast as any other car(nearly) through the turns with a clio rs(i don't care about the straights)

OK he's not Harris but I like Suttcliff. I'm sure the more he gets used to having the camera in his face and being himself the better he'll get. ; He definitely a clean, quick driver which is what you want for this stuff. No sideways bollocks etc.

Clio is a handling masterpiece but i dont like its steering wheel and its driving position. Also it has a great engine with instant response and really powerfull in high end but the car is really heavy for only 21kg of torq

Tiff has a passion for Renaultsports though. that was a biased test, especially since it was discovered that he's driven the 197 Clio ALOT and he'd only driven the Corsa VXR once and that was for the test.

Good for him. He really was a great presenter, and not a bad driver at all.
Having said that, Autocar had better get someone who actually looks comfortable on camera STAT.
