Speaking of the R8, why was the Gallardo-s V10 detuned for the R8 V10, making 517bhp instead of the Gallardo-s 552bhp?
Is it because then it would have stolen sales from the more expensive Gallardo as the V10 R8 would have been slightly quicker if the two cars had the same power as each other?

he's saying that the civic is considerably slower and the R8 is too fast? But he says theres no limit to the civic? He just said the speed was a limit, also the stiff suspension and uncomfortable ride. Poor review in my opinion. very contradicting.

If you wack turbo in the fn2, it will be faster then the new type r and wouldn't be far behind the Audi in a straight, but still wouldn't beat the Audi. I think it's a good comparison video. Type r is great for B roads

a lot of hate here but i found it quite interesting that on an actual road the difference in price compared to the difference in the experience they provide, that R8 doesn't seem to make much sense

i think that an even twistier road, and a current hyper hatch like the focus RS, audi RS3, the current type R etc etc could do a better job, keeping up, or who knows, even beating a super car: v

This is the reason why civic were created as a fwd. to go nimble and fast on cornering. not mainly for a straight 1320. indeed civic were not fast. but it's bloody fun to drive ngl.
