I am a car enthusiast, but I can admit to you that most so-called -car nuts- are immature, pettyminded fools. On the net a majority of them are kids who aren't old enough to drive, and a significant part of the rest are ignorant cretins who don't even own those cars they praise or bash. They care about nothing else than two numbers, the price and the horsepower.
It's not weird at all, it makes perfect sense considering what kind of people they are in general.

-ZarahBaccha You think Jeremy Clarkson's ridiculour opinion should be taken seriously? That guy can't drive to save his life. At the start Italian Job, the driving instructor is telling him not to do powerslides and he CANNOT stop doing them. This is not someone who can drive.
By your own comments, you cannot judge anymore than I can. Clarkson is definitely not an opinion to go by cause he can't drive.

Trust me man. that guy can drive. i agree der are better drivers than him. but i still maintain this review is wrong. the 458 is way way way better than the Porsche. my call on this: 1. Ferrai 458 Italia 2. Noble M600 3. Porsche GT watever it is!

That panel is American dude. if they can like Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga then i dnt think they much of an opinion about cars. if u as them they'll that a Ford mustang or the Challenger is better than the the Ferrari or Porsche trust me.

I did see Clarkson drive the Zonda R. Do you remember him saying that he couldn't push it to the limit of the car? That's because he's not a good driver. Think about it.

i don't understand the attraction of a porsche 911 in anything approaching practical terms
no boot space - there's an engine in there, there's a spare wheel in the front
a smart car's got more useful space

Ferrari sending a crew was marketing move not passion. Read Chris Harris's article about Ferrari lending tuned cars for journalist tests and setting them for specific conditions just to make sure to win. Otherwise they would't even let you drive. Its pathetic and everyone should reconsider how fair are results in all the past tests.

Yeah, that's why GM and Chrysler almost filed for bankrupcy and were forced to get a bail-out from the US Government. That's why the credbility of American car manafacturers is practically zero outside the US, and hardly on top even there.

-sultanabran1 If we're going to names alone then surely the Noble is in lower standing than the GTR, despite having the best chassis here. I think the GTR has a place here, it is a UKDM car after all. You're right though it isn't anywhere near the Porsche in terms of heritage

For Ferrari to send a crew to prep and teach the drivers about there car shows just how much passion they have for racing and their cars. Bravo Ferrari, even if you only got 3rd the amount of heart in every Ferrari is more than almost every car out there.
