I had an 2001 E39 M5 and a first-gen R35 GT-R. Sold the GT-R for what I paid as they were so back-ordered. The specialist who helped me shift the GT-R then told me another customer had been three years on the F430 Spider waiting list, and couldn't afford it now that it was due, did I want it? OK, yeah, manual please. Awesome car but still found myself choosing the BMW for some trips even where I didn't need the passenger or luggage space. The BMW was certainly faster around town due to torque. On a highway, while rolling, and don't ask me how I know this, the F430 Spider can actually just barely gain on an early R35 from sort of 20-30kph/mph up, like 2 meters in five seconds. Roof down of course.
Odd result is that the Ferrari is faster than the Nissan, this video shows the Nissan is faster than the BMW, and the BMW was faster than the Ferrari. Huh.
The GT-R never made me smile without breaking the law. I never stopped smiling in the Ferrari, and actually never got a ticket in it.

Usless, a sporty four door family sedan vs a lighter sportscar made for just sports driving with most 2persons.
They are not concurrents, the buyer of one if them would not instead choose the other one.
The gtr is cheap thou i guess for what you get, but its orobably more useful to compare it wirh other sportcars.
And you forgot putting four people in the GTR and getting it as an stationwagon: -)

Ask a fish and a monkey to climb a tree and it will look like the monkey is better.
If you miss out half of the point of a car you're missing out half the test. Testing comfort, space, cargo capacity, ride quality, seating capacity, technology, smoothness, nvh, materials and so on would be like asking them to go swimming where the monkey would probably drown.
