A lot of the problems the Ford deals with traction wise - torque steer! - will be solved with a LSD (limited Slip Diff.
Unfortunately Ford doesn't provide one for the ST. It would make it a much better car.
But: you can get one on the aftermarket. Wavetrac, Quaife, or Drexler. Will set you back another 1500 euro's, including installing it.
But I would start with a stiffer rear motor mount. And put in a short shifter while you're at it. ;-)
The OPC (VXR) really only needs one mod: a short shifter.

Uploading a video of your licence loosing fiestas now that-s pathetic. Unlike you I-ve driven an RS, my best mates 400bhp RS and i just dont see what all the hype is about that-s why i can comment on em,
Does-nt say much for the RS if a 2 ton DIESELED powered elephant is as fast does it my handsome, A 535d which is a bus and a 3 ton elephant went around the top gear track in 1. 31. 8 an RS done it in 1. 29. 3 and you think your fiesta will outrun a 335d. You are thicker than i thought.

It looks like more pro Ford bias again! To me the Astra was far more competent than the Ford shitter! The cornering was way more planted than the slidy arsed xr3! and it had more Power! Better looking car too! Cmon Ford still playing catchup! All that electronic dodah just to control the front end takes away the natural feel of a competent front wheeler! Volkswagon smashed this category too! a long time ago! Remember?

Just cause it got found out by all things a clio, it must be a fix just like the new Astra and Megane bt it but that was a fix to. So everyone is wrong and your right, Amazing. Perhaps arrogant is another thing you should Google. anyway next time you bump into a 335d just remember i told you so. But looking at the way your fiesta pulled off you will be lucky to outrun a 320d. You slack jawed dribbler.

the impreza behind focus has over 300 bhp. 235 kw (315 bhp / 320 ps)
And yeah i outrun that tank on any twisty road without a sweat. still. saw video m3 vs rs with some mods and it can't overtake the rs until 200 km/h. so sad. big badass v8 can't beat a ford. Fact is focus costs 2 or more times less than your precious ugly ass tanks so you keep thinking elephants are best. good for you: )

You make me laugh, Not much knowledge but comedy value brilliant, there is only one fool here and everyone can see just who when they read your last post about fwd and rwd Priceless. Why do you hate bmw drivers so much? Is it because there are diesels with 40 bhp less than an RS and as QUICK, or is that another car in a long list with similar bhp that are faster you can-t compare it with.

I went to test drive both when buying a new car, went with the Ford, VXR was ok, but slightly. dead inside, and it has pants torque steel. Focus was fun, but really, the difference was minimal and it came down to looks. However, focus engines are blowing up all over the place so the VXR might have been a better choice.

And there i rest my case. FULL OF SHIT that st fiesta must be quicker than an RS cause it couldnt shake one off in fact check out clio vs RS it cant even shake that off. I do agree tho that the back end of an m3 isnt the best and thats all you guys get to see

I know about corners and love to corner with my fiesta ST, but the car that-s most fun gonna be the faster one, if I had the ST and got beat on the way to work with the VXR the ST would not be fun that day I be looking at the VXR at that point

why GM in the usa dumped the astra with saturn. it was the one car that got great reviews. now its the chevy cruze to go up against the st, the mazda, maybe WRX.
