Please elaborate why you find the following facts about a -top-of-the-range- car which costs 200k pounds in the year 2013 not critique worthy:
- It has an updated version of a updated version of a updated version of an old engine
- Said engine is mounted to a -end of life- 6-spd automatic transmission while ZF already offers a great 8-spd automatic as a successor
- It lacks almost every drive assistance feature that's available on a VW Golf Mk7 (Adaptive Cruise Control for example)

If I buy an aston (can't afford it really, it would be because of its looks, knowing it's not the best performer in the class, it's just something to look cool in and aston martin knows it, that's why they don't push performance as much as they push numbers, I mean how many V12s are there in convertibles?

I think you answered it yourself -- people who buy Astons do not buy it mainly for performance, but for looks, the brand name, and social reasons. I read that many women are not impressed by Ferraris and Lamborghinis but they like Astons. That in itself will sell cars to a certain type of male shoppers.

There's no point in making a car go 200 when the law doesn't even allow 183. Aston's still drive fantastically from reviews I have read. Doesn't have the best sound. really? As the famous Clarkson said, the DBS was the best GT ever made, and I'm sure the Vanquish triumphs that. mhm

Clearly this car is not for -you-. I think, frankly, it is just too classy and mature for you. But hey, not all cars are for everyone. That said, the 2018 Vanquish S pretty much took care of any issue you seem to have. Cheers.

Where do they find these dull presenters. I'm getting fed up with it. I adore Autocar but I will stop watching these videos if I have to watch another exciting car get lost amongst the dullards that present them to us.

The best bargain is the X1 28i. Based on the previous 3 series and cheaper than the new 3 series. And standard 4 wheel drive. You must buy it with the active steering though.

The presenter is just so awkward. It sounded like he is just reading off some script someone else wrote and he has no idea what he is talking about.
