Here we go. I ride a fast sports bike love em. and love fast cars. and watch both f 1 and moto. gp. both fantastic. But if you put a f1 race car against a top moto. gp bike. gowing to bite my tongue of for saying this. but the gp bike doesn't stand a chance in hell it just can't cope with the f1 car. But normal fast cars on the street against a 1000. cc sport bike I don't think they stand a chance.

a superbike can take on almost any road car and win, the problem come when dealing with very high hp track monster cars like 918, p1. the thing is grip, cars have lot more grip than bikes and they just take chunks out of the bike at every corner they pass. the other thing is cars are getting lighter and lighter and with more and more hp they are able to match the power to weight ratio of the bikes.

That's a racing spec Fireblade on racing tyres, with different electronics, considerably faster round a lap than the road bike. The McLaren did pretty well really as the only road machine there especially since a BTCC car costs about twice as much and doesn't use any bits from the road car.

This track is very short, hence the 7 second gap, otherwise the time gap would ve been up to 10 seconds. I'm not sure if the bike had slicks on, but the difference between race slicks and road legal pirelli supercorsa tyres is a 2 to 3 seconds a lap time difference in the dry.

Supercars aren't track cars they are just willow soft lounges for old fat rich people with too much money that can go fast in a straight line. Spend a third of the money on a modified sti and you can own any supercars on a track.

Only thing interesting here is the btcc car v mclaren. For all the poke a supercar has it cant beat a moderately powerfull race car. Just goes to show what weight tires and aero does. As for the bike, was anyone really suprised!

An F1 car will destroy any bike! BUT the TT races are probably the most ball breakingly fearsome race in the world where I believe no car experience could ever deliver just due to the nature of riding on two wheels

I freaked out when he said the superbike-s making 200hp. But then I realized it-s 7 years old. In 2021 every liter bike comes 195hp+ stock, some 200 from the factory, 215 with a full system exhaust. Incredible

Any 1liter stock sport bike it going to be real tough to catch by just about any road car. A superbike is plane sick!
To be fare the rider on the bike gives it a several seconds advantage.
