another over priced piece of crap the parts is three times the price of a n ordinary 4x4 and to run it you need to be called Marty mc shell or BP plus its not the most reliable vehicle on the road either, Porsche charges for everything even if you want the CD changer brought from the boot to the dash at the front hoho plus the powered tailgate only lifts up you have to close it your self at the boot, if you want a realible no nonsense vehicle try a Lexus rx with 308 hp it's no slouch either, I bought mine new way back in 2008 it has almost 300000 on it with very few problems, and just watch Porsche vs Lexus Toyota race the works Toyota Lexus blew the Porsche into the weeds because it was more reliable and fast, I really hope that Toyota joins f1 like Honda did I honestly believe they could win the world championship and beat Mercedes. I don't think it's pointless, I think it might be one of the greatest all around cars ever. hear me out. I live in NY there's some snow but most of all there's salt in the winter, there's no way I'm putting a 911 through that cause of the ground clearance. This thing has all the advantages of an suv plus great handling maybe not sporty enough for track days but certainly enough for twisty mountain roads, and enough power to make you smile, good looks in and out, makes a great noise, and porsche reliability and badge. it might not be an all out sportscar but 98% percent of the time it'll be just as good, and when you have to tow, avoid snow/salt, good mpg's, bring friends along or just ride comfortably in shitty nyc streets it's the best. A macan and my motorcycle and I'm all set.

Hi it's me again about the Porsche as I said I have a Lexus rx with 300000 on it I used to be a German car lover I had 3 Audi quattro s what a disaster, I have finally found the best vehicle in the world, the Lexus rx German vehicles are crap nowadays they can't build cars like the Japanese, I wouldn't take the gift of a Porsche McCann it would never be out of the garage plus it takes 12000 over a 5 year period just to keep it running, plus the innacial new price of 60000 and it will only be worth about 24000 after 5 years, so you have lost 48000 yes fourty eight grand over 5 years, good luck guys you will need it hoho

McLaren told Chris Harris he could do whatever with their press demo mule. They said it was up to whatever you could throw at it and more. I like that in a manufacturer.
It bugs me when manufacturers invite people to drive a SPORTS VEHICLE WITH OVER 300HP, PDK, ALL WHEEL DRIVE, TORQUE VECTORING, ETC. and then ask that they put around like grannies. Honestly, you don't really know what a car is like unless you are close to the limit.
COME ON PORSCHE, invite the media to rag it out. Beat on it. Are you not proud of it?

Steve Sutcliffe is an outstanding presenter. He can drive, is extremely articulate and gives you all the information you might want about the car he is reviewing. I drove one of these things and it is incredibly composed and bloody fast for an SUV. It does not feel like a sports car - too large - but Porsche has done a masterful job making it as close to a sports car as the laws of physics will permit.

I respect that VW is trying to make porches versatile but this is a small crossover like all other. This is extremely over priced for what it is. This is a VW tiguan with a bit more horse power added and a different body. VW uses the same chassis and engines across the board from their own VW labelled cars to Audi and now porche.

I think many people buy expensive autos because they just want to associate with the finest things in motor world according to the best auto journalist. It does not matter whether they going to use its machinery capabilities or not, its just it will look good on them and maybe justify their dangerously speeding habit in public road

If the sq5 was lowered some, it might sell better. The USA version is on stilts compared to the euro one. SUVs with more car DNA and less truck DNA are the real hot sellers in the next few years. People want hatchbacks that sit a bit higher to convince themselves they are safer, and not driving a hatchback.
