Thank you Matt, I always love your unbiased and balanced view on cars. Most reviewers pick the M4 just because it's a bmw, it's got more power or it appears to be the sharper of the two. But few of them actually acknowledge or discuss how the turbos negatively affect the driving experience and that sharpness might, in fact, be a result of poor chassis tuning (e. g. adaptive damping calibration) that leads to it feeling artificial and snappy through corners at times. At the end of the day, the RCF is more natural and neutral of the two to drive and as a driver you feel more comfortable and confident whether you're crusing on the highway or going flat out on your favourite B road or track in it. For the same reason, it's also probable that the Lexus will actually be the faster of the two in the real world in the hands of people like us.
Just to add one more thing Matt, you stomped on the throttle like. 8 second later than your colleague in the bmw did in that drag race; -).

I' m not sure when tract work went from faster times to slides/drifts, but the RC F is a good track car for it's segment.
The M4 is also a good tract car. Haters can say what they want, but each car can produce better track times than the other depending on the track. The best car would depend on what you look for in performance car. l prefer a car that's a great daily driver, has better control cornering & quality for the long hall. I've had a RC F for over 2 months now & am extremely happy with it.

From my experience, the one who counts 3, 2, 1 normally launches earlier than the listener, and the M4 did so for half second earlier in this video. So I don't understand why such an inaccuracy has been ignored? Were you starting count time since the M4 launched?

OK OK! So the Lexus is much slower on straight line and on the track, it does not drift as easy as an M4. It's bulky and heavy and yet you like it more! Well, that just indicates u r gettimg old!

The thing is the rcf is a lot better built than the bmw and the noise is a lot better in the rcf who cares about facts. The fact is the rcf is way ahead of bmw even if you just look at them

i mean i would choose the lexus but the BMW preformces better but it requiers more to make it run good on track. i think i'll choose a boxter instead.

The rc f was on sport s mode during the drag race, it should be on sport s+. Not saying it would have won but it would have made a big difference. The car is lazy on Sport S.
