My neighbour has the V8 DB11. It looks great. I've been for a spin in it. I had a TVR Chimera 5. 0 a long time ago and I'll bet you ten whole English farthings that the Aston Martin gets stomped by it from 30mph - 150mph. My neighbour has dyed peach hair. He hasn't paid tax for thirty years - Panama Papers and all. Anyhow, Aston Martin, and all that. Blah.

I'd rather take the V8 model and upgrade it to over 600 horsepower to match the V12. Given you'd just have to swap some parts around since it's the same engine as the one in the E63S.

Eff that. What's a big Aston Martin without a V12? I'm sure a reflash and exhaust will cover the gap. And yea you can reflash and exhaust the V8. but it still won't be a V12

Unless you want to have a V12, V8 these days are way enough for the power output of on road grand touring and all kinds of show off in speed.

It might be better thanks to the V8 in the nose, but the new engine doesn't do anything to help the unfortunate looks of the thing.
