So basically what you're saying is that because of the fact that the Z06 had to be cheap the engineers went for stoneage tech and?
Oh come on. It's a supercar. It's meant to blast away any sense of limit.
And I wouldn't say that 2. 5 more miles to the gallon is a reasonable reason for colossal displacement (GT3 RS 4. 0 goes 20. 5 mpg combined, Z06 does 23 mpg combined. And yes the GT3 RS 4. 0 makes 500hp, 56 more hp than the standard GT3 RS (which has a 3. 8 Flat-6 not the 4 liter.

What?
We're idiots because we use the metric system (the metric system is also known as the SI-units which are the units scientists and engineers use?
Also 505hp might have been impressive had it been from a 3l engine (Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 made 510hp from a 2. 1 Straight-5 turbo back in the 80's) but you have a 7l which should have easily made at least 710hp.
Sorry but that ZO6 is underperforming no matter how you spell it.

That's the whole problem with chevy. If porsche uses better injectors and more valves, why don't they follow suit? All corvette does is make shit and argue it somehow isn't shit because it was designed to be shit, therefore being shit makes it hit it's design objective.

OK.
So how about the Flat-6 in the Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4. 0?
4-liters, six cylinders and 500hp (same horsepower level for an engine roughly half the size with two less cylinders.
Assessment of the LS7: Underpowered

I wish they would but I assume they cant get ahold of one and probably wont be loaned one in the near future. UNLESS hammond does have one. then maybe they can convince him to drive it on the show for them

Cannot complain that. Its a GT2 not a GT3. U will never reach same performance with a -stock- gt3. The Cup Versions all goin about at same power then GT2.

-reyelacademico I know it's not road legal, but what about the 935 racing car? And also the 996 GT3 RS. But I agree with your other choices.

-Feels very much like the GT3 RS- (speaking in terms of the chassis. That's because it has the exact same chassis as the GT3 RS.
