94% of my trips are less than 60 miles round trip
4% are around 80 miles (Iffy in the leaf)
Twice a year we take 1, 000 mile trips (each way),
For me, the basic Tesla range of 160 miles would be ideal without range anxiety for everything except the two long road trips.
The Chevy Volt is the only EV that would make sense for the long trips until they can achieve a 700 mile range in one day.

I think you should have waited a bit more for choosing a better phone (Nexus S, but the Leaf seems to be way better than typical first generation tech products, and Nissan deserves all the credits for making this effort.

I think you should make a little update on that. It's cheaper now to the point that it's affordable, so are its EV competitors of which there are more of.
