The new Audi R8 is a big leap on from the original in terms of performance and tech but still earns its 'everyday supercar' tag. See more Justin: Just to give you an idea if you used one of these as a daily car (on average, USD):
Audi R8 V10 2015 - 165, 800$. You're looking at 2, 328$/month on a 72 month finance if there's no down payment.
Insurance - About 2, 000$/month
Fuel (Massive 23. 8 Gallon Tank) - - 12/22MPG - about 50-70$ per fill up, so maybe 100-140$ a week, depending where you live.
Tire replacement - Front tires: 470$ per tire. Rear tires: 665$ per tire
Regular maintenance (Oil/filters/liquids, etc): About 800$ per checkup.
This doesn't include possible engine maintenance (Cylinders, belts, gears, etc)
Every 6 months, you're looking at 29, 648 US Dollars on regular costs (if you didn't buy the car in a single payment, not including part replacements.
A taste of how much just owning a Supercar cost to keep on the road. i. e not too bad if you're rich.

I've watched a few R8 videos and the comments in all of them just goes to show you. no matter how much tech, driving dynamics, mechanical and all those improvements they make on a car, if people don't like the look of a car, it's a wash to them lol
And I used to be ridiculed in saying that -looks- were an important factor in designing a product.

That's why I bought a 2007 S8 Sedan instead of a newer one. Cause of that amazing V10. Plus I like the body of the older models more. It only has
22, 000 miles on it as well. Really is the greatest thing I've ever bought. I only drive it like once every 2 weeks though and on the nicest days. Gotta maintain that low mileage.

-The old one- isn't more beautiful. The same thing happen with the 488 GTB. You should own a car like that to say it. However i will chose this R8 than a Huracan if have money because Lamborghini looks a fake brand to me. (Send from Milan, italy)

Dont like the headlights. Still looks good but I think the older one had more charm. But damn 600HP with 8500 redling yessir! Thats sick. This car with some intake and exhaust work would be the business! That v10 would just scream!

tbh i like the Audi Le Mans Quattro as my favourite Audi. yes its slower but looks much better has a full side blade and is turbo whats the point of having a naturally aspirated V10 if there is no Turbo

Peak horses at 6500rpm? Must have misspoken, last-gen's V10 reaches peak at 8000, and there's no way Audi would set up an engine to go 2000 revs past its summit.

mmmmmm. the mclaren 570s is in that range of price, isn't it? so, why anyone could choose this over it. You got fancy doors as well.

Anyone complaining about the looks, just wait till you see it with your own two eyes. It is meaner looking but still beautiful.

I don't like it. It's OK, but no near as cool as first gen R8 was when it just came out. Hurracan much much better looking car.
