I think I've lost hope for the future of humanity based on the comments here. Such entitlement and arrogance with no appreciation for difference and a disparaging attitude for anything less than perfection.
The video is admittedly a bit lackluster due to the iPhone'esque format, however it still conveyed the information well and showed all the details that I find pleasing in a review (other than a driving impression, but hopefully that'll come in time. And the ridicule of the car and concept just show how narrow minded people are.

100. 000 british pounds and they offer a infotainment system from Suzuki and probably cardboard speakers which are unable to produce sound to cancel out the racket engine sound at 60 mph, seriously?
Even if its a restomod why would you want to have a 1. 4 with a 4 speed?
I would suggest the engine from Mini Cooper S(R53) the first gen. of the New Mini. A supercharged 1. 6L four-cylinder engine making 163hp and 155lb-ft of torque and a 6 speed manual, that setup could be worth 100K as a restomod.

Been loving the look of these cars. but someone (a car expert) tell me: .if I had 50K, couldn-t I have this MADE. even the reinforced removed seems. and put in 2 AIRBAGS, for Heaven-s sake! (Ok, how about 55K. and I agree with the person who made the comment that (despite my admiration for these cars) the rear lights are in fact -horrendous-.

a dream classic it is worth $100. 000? Well I saw the video of them making it and I have to say yes, you get what you pay for as the amount of work gone into making this car is astounding. Come on Davy B, what about the classic fiat 500 abarth or the VW classic beetle done in the same fashion?

I love minis and I used to own a 1275gt, but! 100k? this goes against the ethos of what Alex Issigonis set out to achieve. he'll be turning in his grave. Robbing shites. A new rebuild can be made at a fraction of the cost of this. best mini out there? No way!

I-m very into -modernised classics- do this would definitely be of interest. Problem is for me, they have actually modernised the engine/gearbox etc. That is the parts that need it most.
Everything else is very cool, albeit too expensive.

Again, I don't get the whole David Brown thing. If people are going to make a good resto-mod, they have to look retro, like Frontline's MGB, Alfaholic and Singer. A Mini like this is just pointless.

Video quality and taste in cars aside. for 100k I would expect PERFECT fit and finish, but look at the leather upholstery, stitching and other details that wouldn't belong in a 7k Dacia.

Choke. That's Maxi money for a restored Mini. Granted, there are serious up grades, however, you can buy a lot of alternatives for that amount of cash.

In any case it's better than any modern one.
Therefore worth the money.
Especially in a fancy color like beige and brown.
