Ok, so the Atom is -slightly- faster and easier to control than the Caterham. But it is not a pretty car. At all. The Caterham style is fairly outdated, but it still looks decent. Plus, the Caterham sounds better on WOT (Wide open throttle) and doesn-t sound like a cat defending its territory.
I would go Caterham.

Couldn't even watch this video for more than a couple of minutes. The overmodulation on the audio was annoying and I couldn't hear the car at all. Your sound guy must have been drunk or something because that's unacceptable.

Ariel atom is not as composed as the caterham very twitchy in the bends.
I think you would have beaten the atom in the caterham if you had the full roll cage would have made the difference.
