Well, the first two cars are shite, then ending on an A3. REALLY! You had some of the best cars, even from different categories for the ones who don't want want a Mclaren and would rather cruise in a Bentley. Hell even the MX-5 for cheap, and Jag for in your face loud, and two Porsches for enthusiasts yet the A3 -wins-

Audi is OK. but shouldn't even be on this list.

BMW Z4
MB SLK
MB SL
Corvette
Lambourghini conv. models
Ferrari conv. models
Lotus
Caterham
Koenigsegg with detachable roof
and so on and so on.
No room for an Audi A3 here I would say

The A3 on top of this list is an insult to any car passionate around the world. Audi must have paid a lot for this, but still you can't rate an A3 better than a Boxster, an F-Type or even an MX-5. Also, the Fiat 500C feels much more of a convertible than a C1 or Twingo with a fabric sunroof to me. And it looks far better.

You are kidding me? The Citroen and the Twingo are considered now convertibles. That roof is just an option on the list, you don't buy a different model/version of the car. In that case, even my own car which has an opening panorama roof will be classified as a convertible.

Swap the Audi and the Mazda and I'd agree almost 100% with this list, value for money-wise. How the Audi manages to win over the 50-50 perfectly-balanced, rwd Mazda is beyond me though.

Why include Citroen and Renault when -admittedly they are terrible converters-. Where is Audi TT which is a no brainer. really wonder why I should continue following auto express

The Twingo and Citroen are not convertibles. They don't open completely, and still have fixed pillars around them. They're basically panoramic roof made out of canvas.

A3 is best convertible? . I can't think of a single element it'd be best at. Not fastest, prettiest, best handling, comfortable. Most mediocre convertible - maybe.
