I quite dislike the front of the new X lineup since they look too simmilar to eachother. It's like the designer took the X1 as the base and just used the scaling option -1. 2 [for the X3 and X4] or -1. 4 [for the X5 and X6] respectively. That's the same thing I dislike about Mercedes' sedan line and what I disliked about Audi's lineup a couple of years ago. I want a car's front to be distinguishable by it's first look in my rearview mirror on the highway and not ask myself is it an X1 or an X5 or maybe even an X3. what's more, if I pay 100. 000, --, or more, for an SUV I want it to be clearly and unmistakeably different from its smallest brother for 40. 000, --.

I'd choose a new X5 M50D over any other large SUV. The new interior and tech are a huge step on from the last generation and bang up to date. The driving dynamics are better than anything this side of a Cayenne in the large SUV market.

What's wrong with BMW's light design suddenly. It's like no matter which car, they screw up the lights. The front daylight running lights look horrendous and make the car look higher. The tail lights look Asian! It's ridiculous.

I prefer The new GLE it looks better, has a better interior, it new MBUX digital screens are step better than the BMW I am sure it will drive fairly well too. the one thing I do like in the x5 is split tailgate!

First generation X5 is my favourite car and it still is. But this fourth generation X5 is very close to it. Proper butch looking SUV like first gen X5. - For BMW for it exterior and interior design.

The Q7 is basically a station wagon. The only competition for this is The Cayenne or the RR Sport. The merc GLE and Q7 are just a joke.
