I continue the work on the Rapid Ranger brake job and start in the rear. Rear pads, rotors, calipers and parking brakes shoes. We are also still waiting on the other grease cap and flush out the entire system

Eric O! You make it look easy. I wish I had seriously started working on Autos much earlier in my lifetime so to get that kind of experience. I believe I've heard you in one of you vids say you wouldn't make a good teacher, but part of being a Great teacher is loving what you teach. I hear that love and enjoyment in your voice and in your videos. And that makes it enjoyable for us to watch and more importantly LEARN. Thanks Professor Eric! :o) On to Part III.

Not sure if you noticed or know the position of the leaf spring clamp location? I just recently bought a used 4cyl 5spd XL and the previous owner put 2 extra leafs per side and the clamps were redone and placed at the rear of each leaf.
He used it as a work truck and hauled his tools around. Me, not so much so it's really stiff and I will be removing the an extra leaf per side. The bigger leaf just under the main leaf.

I went to teespring to get a shirt, but you don't offer one with a pocket. As you're learning, after age 40 you need reading glasses, and pockets on t-shirts become a necessity. Add a version with a pocket and I'll buy one!

I hate them clips, did the back brakes on my 07 Dakota and it was drums with that style for the hold down. Pain in the behind in my honest opinion. Got it done, but ya know. Late to the party, but it be alright.

Ive watched so many SMA videos that I feel like I know the man! Reality sets in, I do not know him. Damn, imagine sitting around drinking a beer and telling stories with the great mind that is Eric O!

I think you should put the big spring on before locking the bottom brake shoe. That would make it easier to assemble it like it was on the back side.

Those rear brakes look like a pain in the ass! If it works either way on that spring, I'll go for easy! I miss my 87 ranger really liked that truck!

Just started watching your videos. Really like that you clean things up before installation. Going the extra mile that few people do anymore.
