I replace the broken rear springs in the back of a 2010 Kia Sedona along with the rear shocks. Its a job that goes way better than I ever expected it too

Working on Kias and Hyundais over the last 10 years - is that what sold you on looking at the Sedona as a replacement for the Odyssey? I had a Sedona as a rental (they ran out of small sedans) and the thing was a really nice ride for a minivan. Also fit all the car parts I needed for a car I was fixing up (body panels - doors, fenders, hood, bumper etc.
Nice work as usual! Nice to see bolts zipping out of their schlotss without any fan fair. Your torches must have felt sad and neglected. luckily there's plenty of Fords and Subarus to keep them entertained haha.

Thanks for the video. I'm attempting this tomorrow. If you were doing this again I saw on another video that they took the inner bolt completely out on the control arm and let it pivot on the outer. Looks to of gave better leverage. well they still struggled. Any suggestions? Plus when you were jacking the control arm back up into place was there a jack stand at the front of the vehicle? Thanks

I think the 4th upper shock mount bolt came out hard because it was loaded; it was the last one out, and there was still some spring tension on it. Not because it was crustier than the others. But, I wasn't there, you were. Great vid. Nice to see those Kia's are so durable that after all those soccer-mom miles the thing is still very servicable.

I am an independent mobile mechanic and I enjoy all off your diagnostic videos and teaching. Although we aren't given credit for it but my girlfriend and I are responsible for the local technical school restarting their automotive skills classes after not having one for over 7 years now. You are a natural instructor.

I've been to South Korea 20-30 times. I use to fly cargo in DC-10s and MD-11s into/out of Kimpo and later the Incheon airport. If you have not read any books about the Korean war, you should. What a mess!

At 1: 30, you are removing the bolt (lower control arm to knuckle bolt. Is that the same bolt I replace with an aftermarket camber bolt kit for rear camber adjustment on this Sedona? Thank you.

i find it interesting that Napa would carry something like a rear spring in stock for such a odd vehicle. usually stuff like this can only be found at a dealer for a new one.

I love how you discuss complex physics terms and make geeky physics jokes. Usually not something your local mechanic/tech usually jokes about. Thanks for always making me laugh.

Have you tried the new inductive bolt heaters? I've seen them in use. They only heat the bolt or nut, not the surrounding CV boots. Have smoked a few in my day.

Nova Scotia van. Replace the brake lines and calipers. That was fun. Hard line fabrication. It worked and was compliant. Took some imagination. I feel you, Eric.
