Glad I watch this video. Just replaced tranny pressure transducer switch on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4. 7 L V8 with transmission 45 RF. was wondering how to clean up the electrical connector. Thanks for showing the detail with the brake cleaner and air nozzle. The transmission fluid had been leaking through the pressure switch for some time before I found one single YouTube video about it. Says it is a common sensor failure, could result in a short circuit but did not show how to clean up the electrical connector. Well I broke the Locking tab trying to get it apart wonder how long it will hang on there? What's the best remedy? any suggestions? Pretty limited access

I have a 2006 Impala LT with the 3. 9L V6 that runs rough at idle. Removing any one of the front wires (2, 4, 6) from the plugs does not affect the rough idle (stays the same. I even removed all three wires (2, 4, 6) when it was off and it started up the same as if they were connected. I think it has to with Gm's Active Fuel Management (aka bad lifter. Can't find much repair info on-line, any help in pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

I think thats what happened to my Impala this morning I was driving stopped at a red light light turned green I pressed on the gas and as I was accelerating I looked in the rearview mirror and saw a huge puff of smoke about 30 seconds after that oil pressure light came on car started to sound weird and then shut off I pulled off the side of the road check the oil and there was no oil and it kind of oil at the bottom of the car

We had 2 (or you can say 3) sensors leaking on the same make and model of car on two cars. First one came in with an oil leak from the sensor and we replaced it. Came back after a month or two leaking again (aftermarket part. Second one was leaking so bad that the car lost oil pressure and messed up the bearings. We had to replace the engine!

thank you so much for this video! my oil pressure all of a sudden dropped and didn't know why. A 17 dollar peice that just about blew up the motor. It was deffently worth the 40 (new part, deep well socet and 3quarts oil) rather than spending a ton at the auto shop. This fixed my oil leak for my '03 Impala 3800 engine

WOW man. Thank you. I am not mechanically inclined. You did a great job diagnosing my problem and show me how to fix it. I had zero tools and haven't worked on anything in years. I fixed my oil leak for 60 dollars including parts, the need tools to fix, and replacement oil. Thank you so much.

you took a lot of parts just to get to that and to know exactly where everything belongs you had to have real passion for that I'm afraid to have a mechanic dude that what you just did he might not put back the bolts back where they belong or even Twerk it the way you did

I had the exact same thing happen with an old 87 Dodge Charger 024 i owned in 2001. I was delivering a newspaper while pulling in a driveway, and the oil switch exploded oil all over the customers driveway.
