Sometimes you beat the dragon!
Your last video with the HMI module you seemed like it was a bad day at SMA!
I know the feeling. You've had so many successes in the past that we've all seen, so just realize that there's a reason why people come to you! Think about the one that you and Ivan worked on together with the twisted (overhead) camshaft! How many out there could have found that problem!
You need a vacation so you can relax a while and recharge your batteries. Just my 2 cents worth.
Good job Mr. O!

Sorry to hear that working on (some modern) cars and trucks is wearing on you(last video, GMC truck with heater control module. I hear ya I was the same way in a different repair type arena. But, suffice to say, your knowledge and expertise make for many satisfied customers. If they aren t appreciative, screw em, there s always 5%. Their money still spends.

Many manufacturers are insisting that modules be purchased only through them. Lock outs, ensuring that old modules can't be used in other cars, etc. They're all going the route of pre programming at the factory. Maybe in preparation for a time when tools that program modules will be illegal.

I have a 2006 gmc w/t that I bought new, it has 2 knobs on the radio, a manual heat control, manual window cranks, manual seats. My wife says I should get a new one but after watching your videos I m going to keep it until it dies. I enjoy driving this truck because it s so simple, like me.

Gonna be lovely when the kid spills a soda in the backseat an bricks the whole car because it flooded the plastic tote the mounted the modules in. I'd definitely invest in some really good floor mats to keep that slush from melting into the carpet an running under the seat.

I ve done a couple of those and just had to go into the transfer case module and do a real quick initialization with my Launch. The factory testing flowchart was weird. Check for continuity between the connector inside with the connector on the transfer case.

Hey Eric, I don t know if it matters much to you but your email address is visible when looking at the screen. I m not sure if this is the silliest video you ve done. The one where the guy didn t take out his rotor screws was up there. Take care

Nice New York accent, one day you're gonna have to collab with Neutral Drop and destroy some leathuh. I always thought Western New Yorkers have that Great Lakes/Chicago style accent almost
