The Audi TT is a speedy coupe and its interior will make you grin - Mat gets behind the wheel to give you his verdict Dan: Please be aware of a MAJOR design fault with this car. We have bought one in the last week and suffered some heavy rain in the first few days. The design of the bottled will just pour (NOT DRIP) water into the boot space. I don't mean it's a trickle, it just runs down the inside of the lid and into the boot space. Anything in there will be soaked. We are now trying to return the car to Audi due to this fault (they call it a characteristic of the car. The Service Manager at Audi had one of these and confessed to this fault but only after we bought it.

im so confused I really need your advice. im a lady who rarely have more than one passenger rides with me and I love looove sports car such as Cayman Porsche. my family are not happy of having me an Audi tt car they advice me to buy the Lexus Rc because as they said it is wider and more safer than the Audi tt. however I watched both videos that you upload it of Audi tt and Lexus Rc and I can see that the Audi tt is more wider than the Rc. what do you advice me to buy?

I love this car. the thing is though I live in the Dutchlands and these cars are so taxed up that there's no fun in buying it anymore! the bloody thing starts at 51. 000 Eur which is about 44. 500 pound. Don't expect any fancy stuff on it for 51. 000 euro as well, it's literally all taxes. Compare it with the starting price in the UK: 31, 565 pounds. You can buy a TTRS for the same price in the UK! I hate this country: (

I've got the Audi TT 1. 8 TFSI 2016 in Vegas Yellow as daily car.
It's a very fun car with lots to offer.
The only thing I would love to have is a change on the shifter since it's quite a long throw from 2nd to 3rd for example.
A bit shorter would make this the perfect car.
And ofcourse: any head in town is turning to admire my car passing by with my TT RS 20- rims and Vegas Yellow paint! :)

The basic version is FWD, one of the most pointless sports cars on the market. You cannot develop a sports & practical car in a single package, otherwise it's not going to be optimised for anything. I would rather have a Focus RS if I was aiming at a sports way of driving in my practical car, or a GT86 if I wanted a slight bit of practicality in my sports car.

I'm just confused! This review of the 2018 was actually published in 2016 and the comments reflect that. Also, this car's front face looks close to the -New- U. S. 2019 model minus some gray plastic and paint. So, the North American 2019 refresh is 2-3 years old!
Is it me? Can someone make sense of this for me?

2 + 2 is for cargo really. or dogs. Q
they should just make it a 2 seater. makes the car more sporty and probably lighter and probably most cost efficient. these type of cars are for performance and enthusiast. otherwise people would buy a practical hatches or suv.

Mat, I am looking to buy a Mk II TT, and I cannot decide on colour. Help me out here please! Brilliant Red, Monza Silver or Ibis White? I am not usually an out there, look at me kind of person, but the red is nice. The problem is that they all are. HELP!

The Audi TT and the Porsche Cayman are fun machines to drive. (Although Cayman is better. The only upside to the TT, although the back seat may be a -gesture- it still is an -Emergency seat- or a -threesome seat- which is an upside. ;p

If I were to chose between the Audi TT and a Jaguar F-Type I would go for the F-Type. Not only is it a Jaaaag but also it sounds better, looks better. Your also not driving around in a car that makes people think your a hairdresser.
