i've had one to try and quite frankly, the overal impression was -meh-. Silent comfy etc, you name it. Nothing wrong with it (aside from touch screens: pretty but unusable when you drive. The issue is: it feels nothing special. Didn't feel much more alive than my Q7, much less engaging than a 5 series. For the exact same price of a fully stacked A7 55TFSI, you have. and RS5 sportback. Hardly smaller, much more alive, more usable interface.

Wow mat you were here in my country. why didn-t you tell us before you come? . i could have taken a flight to cape town to just meet you. i am a huge fan. that was my one and only opportunity mat. why u didn-t tell us why. but i am glad you were here. welcome to south africa. hope they treated you well.
And one last thing mat. in south africa we use rand not pound- so its not gonna be 65 ponds its gonna be 1. 3 million rands -

Maybe the best of the VW products (including Bentley, but how reliable is it likely to be? Being stranded or in limp home mode is no fun. In my youth, I once saw two men in evening dress pushing a Daimler Majestic off to the side of the road with two women still in the car. The image has stayed with me. Amusing but pathetic.

WOW this A7 is so cool. would buy the car just for those lights. Also like the pillar less doors and interior. but most of all the fact he came to Cape Town to test it. I also like the fact there is a double touch system and not a afterthought stuck on tablet and no silly dials which Matt seams to favor.

Let's be serious the 6 series 2011 model but the 2016 where everything is updates its still cool which still can get the latest infotainment system and digital cockpit as stardard can still be a competitor and Matt has never done a 6 series review properly or compared it to others

I just don't like the steering wheel response on a modern cars. Even on cars like this. Car makers should've stayed with a classic hydraulic power steering. its easy enough to use it in low speeds and perfectly sharp in high speeds with great response to the driver.

Really like all the Car WOW reviews and watch them religiously. Only comment I would like to make is that often the highest end models are being tested whereby the most bought versions of the vehicle are of a lesser spec. Other than that keep up the good work guys!

this guys opinions about this car are very uneducated and annoying. even if the climate controls weren't touch screen, you would still need to look down and turn the knobs. whats the difference? anyways, beautiful car but the A5 is the way to go.

There is one thing i dont get. In my car, whether is winter or summer, temp. is always 21 C. I never change it. So i dont understand opsession with climate controls buttons at least temp. settings. Other controls are on off either way.

The new 2019 rs7 will look something similar. I hope they add the lights in the back. plus the same option for headlights. And fix the interior a little bit. It seems a bit simple and old. Everything else is ok
