Alright let's do our discussion ride now. Mister WAtson I adore your movies becuase you are practical and serious and not at all a clown like those people on the other car shows. You have said many interesting things here today but when I look at the time recorder this movie was made in 2018 that is two years ago not now so my result is clear in that i look at this and i say if i want to buy a new car from this video no. I must now look for a two years car. Look that's ok I don't mined too much but itis just that you cannote buy a new car that is secondhand the dealershits will only sell a new car that is new so unless we buy used we cannot by new. Iam also amazed that you are able to drive three different cars at the same time because when i drive one car i cant drive another or another or another. The facts speak for themselves mister watson! You also wore a very nice jacket with your pants and shoe and if I can offer you advice itis to wear a shorts pant with shoe and shirt. As usual as i am from south africa i cannote start my day without your movies playing as it feels like i have to go through the day without wearing sunglasses and so i must stay inside. Have a 2010 XC60 T6 with 200k plus miles. Love it and will hold onto it. No issues and runs like new. Decided to get a second new XC60 T6. Beautiful car in and out. BUT
It drives horribly. Engine is lagging and unresponsive. Transmission has trouble finding the right gear. Road noise is louder than my old XC60. Hate the nav / entertainment screen operation system. Unintuitive. Air con system is slow to cool and the fan drops is rpms when you punch the gas. Why? Volvo you F-d up the XC60! Major disappointment!
After test driving every lux suv went with Q5. Very intuitive to drive, handles great, I could go on. Drove the BMW another great vehicle but the Q5 just edged it out. Plus the Q5 cost less.

models on all these manufactures are so different and have such different feels. whilst general comparisons on dimensions, bot space, cabin space etc are comparable i don't think driving is. Matts driving the xc60 with air suspension - its like a walrus on a skateboard and not too everyones taste whereas the D5/T6 XC60's have completely different driving dynamics and far superior. Even standard models with out air suspension have better driving dynamics. Saying the XC60 driving isn't as refined as -The Germans- I don't believe is accurate at all, my model is pin accurate, flat through corners and grips like an alligator

I was looking at the BMW X3 and the Volvo XC60. Bought the Volvo. So glad I did, because I was hit by a drunk driver and my car was told Alex. Me and my sister were brought to a level 1 trauma hospital where my injuries were not life threatening and my sisters were- due to the seatbelt. I-m glad I was in the Volvo and not the beemer as volvos are superior for safety. I watched a video a bmw and a Volvo crash test. No comparison. Volvo driver for life, I-ll take a bit slower and a few little irritants over the polish of the bmw. My car saved my life as well as my sisters.

Im from Sweden volvo nowdays is something for rich people. New volvos are really how to say handsome but people complain soo much. The electronics errors allot and nergds uppdated whock you cant do your self. The standards is so not good since china produces it. China made studf aint reakly good. They guy who take cares like for updates said new volvos are problematic. Its not a qualitything as before. Ihad xc60 gave it back since it wasnt even one year old with massive problems. Now i have bmwx3 a brilliant car. German made stuff aint never bad quLity

'Not as solid'? Using the word 'Solid' to describe a car, is highly subjective terminology. The Volvo is every-bit as well engineered as the other vehicles here - And if I were to buy an SUV, then why would I not want it to be a little softer than its non-SUV counterpart? Surely the whole reason for acquiring one, would be for the additional comfort, & its ability to absorb, less than perfect road surfaces? If you want to wizz round bendy roads, without feeling like you're 'wollowing around', buy a M3, S5 or V60 Polestar! I'll take the XC60.

I was just looking at all three of these cars in the 2020 editions and ended up going with the XC60. I really like the simplistic design and got the premium seat package on the Inscription. I think the interior design on the Volvo is so much cleaner and well designed than the other two. Both the X3 and Q5 look like someone just glued an iPad to the dash for the infotainment center and it just feels clunky to me.

I guess most people that I see driving the Q5 are attracted to the virtual cockpit? And I do see many more Q5s than X3s I guess it-s a shame because the X3 is the 3 series of the SUV focused world. I-d still buy a 4 series 3 series or a 2 series but I guess everyone wants to sit higher and not lower like me.

BMW wins and Audi comes 2nd. Volvo is probably the best looking but its comes up short. Driving dynamics is horrible and paying 45k-50k for a luxury vehicle that rides like a cheap sedan is a L. You will feel each pot hole or bumps. For this price point it should ride more smoother.

Again no Range Rover velar or Jaguar F-pace in the line up. how sad. Moreover, Volvo was never a luxury vehicle manufacturer until recently. it was in the same league of Mazda. Even with Chinese funding, I don't consider Volvo as luxury vehicles.
