Wow the review is like, Matt expected a premium interior and performance (especially his suspension comment is just irrational) from an entry level hatchback and got disappointed. Ridiculous review (not considering the final verdict. 110 hp is very decent power (0-100 is 9. 5 sec) for a car like this that has focused on short distance city drives. If you want to have fun just like the older generation sporty hatchbacks, you can actually. Just with a simple suspension modification. This car is naturally aspirated as well so the revs are very stable and controllable and it also has manual option. You can get little fun, practicality (according to this segment, reliablity, fuel economy from this fairly priced car.

I have recently bought an18 Yaris 1. 5 petrol having previously had an 08 reg Yaris diesel for 8 years. I will admit certain parts of the interior maby aren't the best quality in terms of the plastics used compared to my previous 08 reg Yaris but that-s the way cars have gone in terms of saving weight to improve fuel economy.
But the 2018 is a fine car to drive, all the instrumentation is very easy to use, very good interior space, the boot size is great for a car of it-s size and once you get use to the clutch it-s very easy to drive.

What do you expect from a car in this price range? If you want a sporty hatch then buy one! If you want a reliable comfortable small car for a couple or young family which has 5 star safety etc. Why knock it. At least it won-t leave you stranded at the roadside like some of your vastly more expensive options. The VW group cars are bigger and less reliable. Everyone I-ve had have left me stranded At some time, Toyotas and Hondas always get you there and back and fit into smaller car parking spaces with ease.

I don-t see the front seats swivel and tilt option on their website but read it was available?
Turn Tilt Seats function is an adaptation of Toyota-s disabled persons-friendly WelCab seat design, but it is now available on its standard cars. With Turn Tilt Seats, the driver-s and front passenger-s seats will swivel to face out, thus allowing easier entry/exit. Toyota says the feature is designed for occupants wearing skirt or kimono and supports those with back pain or low muscle strength. Brilliant!

Yes Toyota may make some boring cars, but they make the most reliable cars in the world. This has made Toyota richer in value than all the German car manufacturers and even Ford. Toyota makes very reliable vehicles, this means people who have their vehicles have low expenditure on their incomes for maintaining them, compared to those who buy German and American car brands, who use their hard earned cash to fix their unreliable cars.

Less than 2 mins in and this is already sounding so negative. what have the cubby holes ever done to you? lol. I have a 2019 Yaris and couldn't love it more. small, compact, reliable, aesthetically pleasing. honestly love it with my whole heart: ) if looking for reliability and long term, Japanese cars are the way to go and the Yaris is an amazing option!

Ive got a 12 plate in the same colour as that and the roof and tailgate is full of rust spots. Took it Toyota approved bodyshop who rejected my claim. Look online loads of rust/paint issues for this car. Ive had 3 toyotas previously, feel the brand is not supporting customers when this is a known issue. Maybe brand loyalty doesnt matter to Toyota now.

But have you asked yourself this: How much time do you spend touching and enjoying the materials in your car?
These seem like first world problems to me. Reliability, fuel consumption and maintenance prices come first. Cheap plastic and pockets don't really matter to average consumers, especially at this price.
Change my mind.

For all those considering buying this car, don't. It's a garbage tin can. I've drove company Hyundai i20 for 6 months and got this Yaris after. i20 is not as fast but engine is miles smoother and whole impression is night and day batter compared to this tin can Yaris. I want my Hyundai back.

There is literally nothing good about this car apart from it's reliability. As if every other car in this segment is unreliable -
The interior is the worst part though, the dash looks look it was designed by a 3 year old. The cheap and nasty quality can be forgiven but not the design.
