But the Tesla can't actually do it can it. I know from several test drives that you can't just plant your foot into the floor. You have to set Ludicrous mode, wait 45 minutes for the battery heater to bring the batteries to optimum temperature then it will do a 2. 7 0 to 60. In the meantime everyone else has done the drag, been to the pub, had 4 pints and a meal.

They are all fast. Can't use the full power unless you are in Germany. Also, what kind if a drag race when others have to wait for the Tesla to warm up. One minute is fine, but I heard that it takes 30 to 90 minutes. What a joke. Do a real race from top to the bottom of England.

Why don't they do EV vs EV instead of EV vs ICE? EV's generate enourmous amouts of torque. The Telsa appears to have skirted the rules in a couple of these races but even without that happening, the other cars wouldn't have stood a chance anyway.

As far as I can see, the cones are far too small to judge and it is very easy for different drivers to brake at different points.
Brake tests may not be 100% objective nor accurate. Better if it's done by the same driver.

We all know that none of these cars is remotely short of power and performance. Splitting fractions of seconds is meaningless. If I was in this kind of marketplace I'd go for the full EV.
