I wish they brought these, with the petrol engines, to the US. We had an attempt but only got the electric B class Mercedes and it was the prior generation as well. It is looking practical too, which is a nice plus for something that is also nice looking, at least to my eyes, it is very nice looking for something that offers so much practicality. Normally function in cars comes at a cost of boring, or very bland and soulless. I could see myself daily driving this. Sadly I'll have to move to Europe in order to make that happen. Or some other market they sell it in. That won't be the US Market though. :(

Looks a lot nicer than the current model and the competition, but could still look better. To be honest, though, looks aren't really where the recent smaller Mercedes models have been lacking, it's the driving experience that lets them down and given the way the new A class drives, this is likely to be a bigger, more wallowy version of that. So, is there a new GLA coming anytime soon. Surely, anyone who wants a bigger, more practical version of the A class, the GLA is the better looking option, albeit more expensive.

Not my kind of car, but they solved it well and the lines are simple and clean. The only thing I do not like happening with several MB cars atm are the raised hood sides starting from the A-pillar - That makes the distance from the hood top to the wheel arches rather big (looking a bit fat. The interior looks pretty great for this segment.

I-m Surprised mercedes didn-t launch a 44v hybrid or phev variant, because being a city dimensions it would be the perfect car to go against the gte or Honda clarity phev either launching before or a viable premium alternative

Typical of Carwow. The MAIN competitor is the BMW 2 series active tourer. But Mat won't put it because it is ugly and the poll will show it. And on Carwow a BMW just can not lose.

Why is the 2 series active tourer not in that comparison? I know it-s now a bit old compared to the new B Class bit it-s not half as old as the Golf Plus and the C4! -

Waiting for Watson's comparison test with Bmw 2 series. Both of them ugly, but at the same time the best family cars you can have fitting a 4. 45 meters parking spot
