Haha, about time you did a review on this. I-ve been waiting for months in it. But couldn-t wait any longer and eventually took the plunge and bought mine in March. Got to say I agree fully with your review. I knew the car was quicker to 60 than 4. 8 but never thought it-d be loitering around the 4 seconds!
Gotta say though that with my seat set comfortably (I-m 6-2) there ain-t a lot of room behind me, but I-m alright Jack.
I love the car and would recommend at least a test drive.

Amazing how Hyundai/Kia and even tiny Mazda offer crossovers in every size category in the U. S, yet the company who not long ago aspired to be #1 in the world withholds this from a large market full of people buying. mostly crossovers of all sizes- When VW goes full EV in the near future they better hope their established markets are loyal enough to keep them afloat. They've never made a serious effort to be more than a niche player in the North American market. outside of Mexcio of course.

I really don't 'get' the fascination with SUV's though, and especially 'sporty' ones.
Why buy something with doesn't handle as well as the normal equivalent hatch/saloon, is no bigger inside, is no faster (probably slower due to worse aerodynamics, is less efficient and heavier, and costs more.
I honestly don't understand.
'Because I like to sit higher up' is the usual answer meh.

overpriced caca. I stick with my 2015 golf tdi dsg 150 hp ea 288 which I bought brand new in 2017 with 18895 dolars and 0% APR for 72 months after the diesel scandal. danke for nothing. I bought it with 6000 off mrsp but even for 23895 it would be much more of a car then this coca cola can. I average 50+ mpg, it is reliable as hell and it is what a vw should be. CHEAP.

It makes you wonder how long models like this will survive. Lots of well paid jobs with cash to spare have gone down the toilet, and really a car like this is a nice boy's toy to have, but food in your kid's bellies is probably a bigger priority. These could be the last of the quick cars before we all have to drive golf buggies. A Pity.

My mum in laws 1. 5 tfsi is fully spe ' d, I took it to vw for a service, they had a new R in the showroom that was identical, I suggested to Raffa he swapped it my mum wouldn't notice, being 86. It's 2. 5 yrs old and done 13000 kms!

garbage usless for woman's and. baby boys. A two ton permanent FWD car! who would need such a nonsense? Haldex on REAR AXLE! What nonsense, rear axle should be main axle for power and torque, not that axle which get from time to time some 10% torque.

Alright it's cool with all that power and suspension, but so damn boring looking car and those plastic parts outside makes it look cheap. Interior is full of that same crap plastic

Cars are becoming absolutely insane. the fact that a compact SUV with just over 300hp is doing 0-60 in the low 4-s. that-s not much slower than a Carrera GT was with over 600 hp.
