Someone might explain to Matt and to carwow while that state of battery charge actually makes a difference if you are drag racing or road racing the vehicle. The only way you can run a 12. 4 in a Tesla Model Y performance is if your state of charge is somewhat low. Topped up it's an 11. 9 car.

0: 45 off the line, definitely the Tesla, off the road. it's a Tesla doesn't really do that, and quattro was born rallying so it would be quite the reverse.
Actually that would be an interesting challenge. an audi all road vs a model y off road.

Wasn t sure which one was faster at the start of this video. However, I was sure that it s only the Tesla that 99% of people look at and think the driver is a complete loony for wasting their money on such a ridiculous car.

You had to cheat against a giir, even though the boys in engineering gave you 100 extra horsepower and a couple of hundred extra ft. lbs. of torque. On the bright side, they gave you fart noises to play with!

Car WOW. lets compare a RS4 that costs how much? To a car that cost 60 k USD. Then lets disadvantage the tesla by using track mode (reduces power by cooling battery) and racing in the wet. Yep WoW indeed.

To get better performance of the Tesla, you should skip track mode and navigate to suc. The temp in the battery will raise instead of decrease, which will make the cars faster in the dragrace.

Haven't gotten even 10 seconds into the video and i know the RS4 is gonna get its a kicked. It's not the performance machine it used to be back in the first two generations.

Track mode cools the battery instead of heating it for maximum performance. Looked like 82% charge also, kinda suspect that the videos of the Tesla screen had less resolution.

Was the Tesla in Chill mode rather than Performance - it s acceleration seemed massively underwhelming? I ve driven an MYP and I m surprised the Audi could keep up with it.

Poor Jodie needs to be told that you go as the hands are dropping not when then are at the bottom! she started 5 frames slower than Mat. Either way she beat you Mat! :)
