E. Musk is striving to become a member of the very closed and extremely irresponsible group (since it destroys the current very precarious environmental balance) of space flight nuts!
He has the hypocrisy to present his automobile activity as one of the ways to save the world by reducing the emissions that are harmful to the climate of the planet and to the living conditions of human beings, while, simultaneously, he contributes to rot our life - in the figurative sense, since, in the literal sense, it is our living conditions that he contributes to rot - by rejecting, in the atmosphere and in space, with all these rocket tests (and worse in the future, if he is successful in the end, the equivalent of a multiple of the quantities of harmful gases (among others, which would be avoided, by those who believe in it by buying Tesla cars! .
Isn't that contradictory?
Wouldn't he be making fun of the world?
The hypocrisy of Mr. Musk (and his henchmen) is matched only by the naivety and blindness of his admirers, which leaves us dumbfounded.
And the narrow-mindedness of the -specialists- who do not want to see further than the end of their nose is distressing.
-Man is an animal who desires knowledge-, said the ancient Greeks - which we have known for a long time is not true: Man is an animal who desires belief, and he is ready to self-inculcate almost everything. Could we go so far as to say that Man is an animal that desires ignorance, like an ostrich putting its head in the sand? (-Ignorance is bliss-, they say.

Interestingly, in your drag race between Porsche 911 Carrera S and Model 3 Perf, Tesla was ahead until about 125mph and the it lost to a Porsche, almost like this time it lost it to a Long Range version.
Now, I am would just like to see Model 3 2021 versions of LR and Performance vs Porsche 911(whatever is their slowest version of it they have on the market) and also Porsche 911 Carrera S.
Can you please have this? Please, please.

There-s something wrong here because. I raced my performance against my friends long range and it was a massive difference. And I have raced my friends long range car against a standard plus. No way a long range is that much quicker then a standard plus and there-s no way the performance is just a car length quicker then the long range something is messed up

Just last week I drove the Long range and the Performance and actually couldn't really tell too much difference. only a little. I didn't bother testing the Standard range. but after seeing this it confirms what I was thinking. .that the Performance is not worth the extra money. It's all about that speed off the line anyway when you are driving around the place.

One wonders whether there is any real difference between the long range and the performance except for the way the battery dumps energy into the motor off the line and up to 50 mph. They might be marketing at the same way they market toothpaste. Five different names for the same brand all with allegedly different capabilities, but in fact, it's just marketing.

Fascinating video.
I wonder though. The 3p burned more energy in the first couple runs. All three cars started the day with the same charge, but if the 3p burned more energy, might this be why the awd could catch it in the later runs?
It would be great to see the quarter mile time at the end of the day with whatever charge the cars have left.

-mattcarwow would you mind checking the HP of the TM3.
Using the 1, 36 times the kW should give the HP.
TM3 SR+ should have 325HP
TM3 Dual LR should have 441HP
TM3 Performance should have 513HP
- which would also explain the small difference in the LR vs the Performance.

Something is wrong with the video no way a long range is that much quicker then a standard range plus and there-s no way it-s a car length slower then the performance there-s something up with the race. Bc I raced my performance against a long range and it was a huge difference.

Just show how what a joke Tesla fans are, nothing special here, little more power and different diff ratio and you get better time off the line but high speed? what a joke, that is why BMW i4 M50 is just a much better car, doing everything just better even if it's heavier.

Over 50 the LR and Performance are even, this is a known fact. The LR has beaten the Performance 2 times because of this fact of even acceleration at these speeds + the bigger Rims of the Performance. This leaves both times an advantage to the Long Range Model.
