Porsche always delivers on performance. When you buy a Porsche, you're paying for performance. Not the multimedia, not the 18-way seats, and certainly not craftsmanship of the interior. I'm not surprised of the lack luster qualities of the interior, as the interior has never really been the forte of Porsche -hand that to Mercedes, Audi and BMW. However, it is rather disappointing when a customer is paying so much money for a car that should be on top of every aspect of the driving experience. To me, if I am paying so much for a luxury vehicle, every aspect should matter because I will look at and use those buttons each time I drive. The lime green calipers are cute, though.

Great review. Just one comment. the criticism regarding the volume control on the console. once you-ve owned the car, you-ll realize that the swivel knob and volume control are perfectly placed when you are resting your hand on the shift lever, which is intentionally shaped like a little platform to rest the heel of your hand on while your fingers can basically reach pretty much all the controls on the console as well as the touchscreen. It-s brilliant once you get used to it, and clearly it was designed that way from scratch as it works so very well. Just wanted to point that out, as you mentioned the same thing with the Panamera. Great review, I enjoy all your videos.

I test drove both the e-hybrid and the S back to back. I found that the hybrid felt sportier and far more reactive. The torque is available straight away, and the manner in which the electric and petrol engine kick in together is fantastic. Off a race track, I would image the e-hybrid would be the more fun. As for the green elements, these can all be 'removed' free of charge. Just a question of taste whether which way you want to go. The options list on Porsche, as with many German cars, is long and can add up. Still, the best SUV that I have had the chance to drive by quite some margin.

11: 17 although a bit gimmicky nowadays, Porsche is the last automaker to keep the tradition of the LeMans-style start ignition switch. Back in the day, racing drivers would run to their cars, start them and drive off. Porsches has the ignition switch located opposite of the gear shifter so drivers could shave a few seconds by simultaneously starting the car with one hand, using the other to shift into first and set off faster than their competition. good times.

Very fair review as always with spot on grin: info ratio. Bought one a year ago and still happy. Except for regen brakes - Wife-s i3 way better, should have done better Porsche at that price point. Porsche experience day shows what it can do. Try it before buying. Real world mpg 32 mpg normal non journo drive. Over 50mpg on commute using chargers as much as reasonably possible, 23 mpg hooning it round the highlands with no charger or speed camera in sight.

- 5: 16 is that wireless charging? Porsche and Land rover are masters at robbing their customers. Is the steering wheel an option? What about the brakes? They are crazy you have to pay extra for a reverse camera! Cam on (see what I did there) I think porsche had better -reverse- that decision before people shop else where, STOP BEING SO TIGHT PORSCHE AND GIVE THE CUSTOMERS A FAIR DEAL GOD DAMMIT!

Matt makes me cringe the way he drops the luggage covers on the ground no matter what car he reviews. He's bound to scratch them. Would he be as easygoing if he paid for the vehicles himself. He could place them on the grass off camera. It wouldn't take more than a moment.

I don't think the issue with the fuel filler cap an Annoying problem. it's actually a great feature. no one is going to steel your charge when it's parked somewhere. Bit some one could drain your fuel. so it's better be locked from inside when parked

i dont understand why car manufacturers can't get a proper touch screen like a regular tablet or a smartphone, the lag in response time drives me crazy. i mean you are paying almost 100k and can't get a good infotainment screen?
