The Untold Truth about electric cars: They are expensive as hell. Charging them cost you more than gasoline. Many charging stations don't work properly. You have to replace the batteries every 5 years or so. New batteries cost from $6, 500-$10, 000. It costs $2, 500-$4500 to have them replaced. You will pay a large disposal fee. The batteries will then be disposed of many large landfills, where they will leak several different chemicals into these landfills. Plan on spending this same amount EVERY 5 or so YEARS! AND China will thank you for your business as NEARLY ALL PARTS INCLUDING THE BATTERIES WILL BE MADE IN CHINA! Buy American? Nah. destroy American land so China can get rich and the Biden Family Crime Syndicate will get richer. Meanwhile, EVERY OTHER COUNTRY ON THE PLANET WILL CONTINUE TO USE FOSSIL FUELS! WAKE THE FK UP, FOOLS! Yeah. JUST SAY NO TO ELECTRIC CARS!

These are pioneering vehicles, & longevity/resale is an unknown. Especially without the solid state battery not yet in these cars.
The asian car makers can make really good A to B transport.
Being dazzled with new gadgets, lights & shiny things is something we as humans, are suckers for. Just like phones.
I'm sure Audi merc Ford etc have much better things to come, than a kia or Hyundai with evs if you can afford it.
Just an opinion but it looks like someone crossed an SUV with a 70's lancia & a cockroach? It will date quickly as these were designed 5yrs ago, but overall a good effort at a cheerful motor car.

Buy american, buy gas powered. I own 5 vehicles some new and some old-. i have a 70s mustang with a 302. The cars is over 40 years now. It the most reliable vehicle i own. It never breaks down, cheap to maintain, its not fast relative to newer cars but it was top of line at its time. If our government didnt mess up the economy in the past year it would be much less expensive to drive due to the gas prices. I will never buy one of these electric vehicles for so many reasons. I wonder if in 40 years from now people will be saying the same thing about these cars-i doubt it because the the technology is not as tried and tested than that okd mustang.

Wait till the EV vehicles take over the roads. Here in the US alone 12 to 15 million vehicles a year reach the end of their life and are scrapped. The average EV battery weights 1600 pounds so once EV vehicles take over, that's 24 billion pounds a year of hazardous battery waste that will have to be dumped. No their not recyclable their to deadly to recycle and are not designed to recycle. Think about that when you see the streets filling up with EV's.

I think it's over-styled and the gripes are annoying ones (especially the headrest) but it does come with some really cool stuff!
Imagine being able to power your vacuum cleaner and power washer directly from your car. I really like the simple things too, like being able to fold the rear seats from a handle in the trunk.
For me it's a -consider-. is there a hands on review of the electric Honda HRV?

Great car but after sales is terrible. Kia don-t cover anything under warranty voluntarily. They refused to pay spark plugs at 60k saying service item. Paid for plugs and low and behold engine light came back on turns out coil pack. Cool pack covered under warranty but refused to reimburse for spark plugs as state they are serviceable item. Be wary about warranty.

If a long winter blackout occurs in a land of electric cars most of the population will-
perish in the freezing cold. The gas powered car that would provide cabin heat for-
many days will not be there. The electric car could only supply heat for a short time-
and would quickly discharge its battery making a trip to a shelter impossible.

Drove a GT Line S yesterday- impressive in places but really poorly packaged. Couldn-t see half of the instruments with the steering wheel set to how I-d hold it and the sunroof meant head touching the roof! In the back you can-t put your feet under the front seat either - I-d only recommend it if you-re well under 6 ft tall.

41, 000 pounds? So, the average car for the average working man. That is, if he does not pay his mortgage, nor his electric & gas bills, water bill, council tax, life insurance etc. Neither should he take a holiday, feed the kids, wife & pets, buy any new clothes etc. He would then be able to afford one on hire-purchase -

Looks like a great car, maybe start making them affordable to everyone as 40k plus is out of reach to the average motorist. I read that electric car prices are going to be a lot cheaper due to more models becoming available and the capability to make the batteries in the uk. Let-s see if the future really is electric! -
