Great to finally see a drag race on carwow with a Model S Plaid, instead of a Model X. And so much for the Model S having crap brakes, it managed to stop in the same distance as the Ferrari, with the Tesla having substantially more weight. Sure, the stock brakes may not be fade resistant enough for track racing, but for emergency stopping in real world driving, they are obviously excellent. BTW, I've taken a stock Model 3 SR+ on a track and it had consistent braking without any fade or overheating, it was impressive. The weight the much heavier Model S plaid obviously makes a difference.

The
Why would it be surprising that the Plaid brakes well? As long as the brakes are cold, the stopping distance is entirely a function of tire grip (which is a function of weight, tire size and materials. The brakes are not part of this equation.
The Plaid has good brakes, they just do overheat a bit quicker, in part also due to the more aerodynamic wheels. If you want that thing on a racetrack, you usually go with ceramic.
Also, 9. 7s is a pretty bad result for quarter mile

Again with the shit it's quite expensive while being next to Porsche and Ferrari (its the cheapest car out of the 3)
In real world you dont just bash on the breaks, it only at the track. If you want the upgraded package (carbon ceramic breaks) you can buy it from tesla and get better breaking and better top speed, or go with unplug preformance that only give you the better breaking.

of the three, the Porsche is the fastest and definitely offers the best performance. Take all three cars to the race track, the Tesla will absolutely fail, the Ferrari will keep up, but the Porsche will drive away and what's more, the Porsche is the best daily car. the tesla is just plain ugly and as far as workmanship goes, tesla is utter garbage.

Carwow is doing everything to bring down the 911 Turbo S. It is indeed fast but you can't put it agaisnt 1000hp cars and except it to catch up. Its a DISGRACE. Learn to respect the Porsche. It is a really beast with cars of its own size.
Tune the 911 turbo S with at least 900hp and then try again. You'll be shocked.

Tesla brakes were never bad (in terms of braking force, the problem Is brake fade not power, and in the Tesla you have 1020 HP meaning it as a toon of Regen, also the Tesla plaid now comes with higher thermal capacity brakes. Last time you tested a plaid you used winter tyres and didn't even mention it.

Porsche Fan Boys are trying soo hard to Defend their Beloved Child by saying its 350hp down on Power while ignoring that the Tesla is a 4 Door Fat Boy that is its Exactly 550kg or 1213 lbs Heavier than the Porsche. That is alot of weight, so don't bring up that power Disadvantage

First u can not really compare the Tesla with the 2 others, not just because of the price, Tesla is min 3 times cheaper than the Ferrari. All 3 cars are extremely quick and Tesla may be the quickest on straight line but that is about it. Any other conparison makes no sense

Honestly impressed by the Tesla braking so well, considering the weight too. It's a few cooling ducts away from being safe enough to be on a public road! Could probably mod it into a decent car for not a whole lot of money.
I'd take the Porsche though, clearly.

Ok, but the Tesla looks rubbish & the brakes are utter trash too watch Mischa take the S Plad round the Nurburgring The Porsche is an absolute weapon given that it s pure analogue & the Ferrari is an absolute stunner aesthetically. Elon can keep his mediocre iCar

If you realise that, the cheapest car, is the fastest, is the winner both in drag race and rolling race, that's awesome achievement. In most cases, in the real life, money will ultimately decide which one you'll buy. Big Like for Tesla!

Just to put in some perspective: the Model S is a full-size, 5 seat family sedan with over 700 litres of boot and froot space. Up against two 2 seat cars with luggage capacity generally considered fictional.
And it crushed them.

When you take into account cost differential the Tesla is just unbelievable. The SF90 is like over a half million USD well optioned. America is King. Suck it Italy, Germany, UK, hell all of Europe and Asia.
