This is the SHERP N 1200, and it just might be the craziest, most hardcore off-world car in the world! Now based on performance stats alone, you may not think the SHERP sounds that impressive. After all, it s powered by a 2. 2-litre diesel engine that can produce 55hp and 190Nm of torque. In terms of weight, it also comes in at around 2, 200kg. However, don t let the stats deceive you - the SHERP can handle even the hardest of off-road terrains So of course, Mat s going to put it to the test! We ve lined up a series of four challenges for Mat to put the SHERP through. It ll start off with a muddy trail with deep ruts, followed by driving over a field that s covered in logs and tree stumps. Following that it ll be put to the test on a lake where it can FLOAT on water, and finally it ll drive up a hill covered in boulders!

F. K CARWOW!
This was pretty pathetic of you MATT and you sided with the Western Propaganda which only has the US, the UK and their colonies around the world I am NOT watching CARWOW from THIS moment on. That world of yours is slowly sinking and I'm sorry you can't accept that nothing lasts forever. The whole WORLD has had enough of the West, gentlemen.

Sherps are just on another level of sick. Can you get that thing to the usual offroad track and see how it does? Or even if it notices its offroad at all?
I wish there was a way to make them road legal. Almost anything tracked is a skid steer so I can't see why its such a problem?

reply

This thing needs neutral steering 1000%.
Don t understand why it doesn t have it tbh. It would make it a lot more manoeuvrable, legalise it for road use and damage the landscape less. They had neutral steer all the way back in ww2 for christ s sake! Why not here?

reply

Thats pretty cool, the steering would do my head in, be good if you could just set the rpms, on a dial, and have foot plates on the travel leavers, but that's probably just the digger operator in me talking! I'd find that so much easier!
reply

Hey Mat! You are spreading fake information! I am Italian and I can ensure you that is not legally To drift or speed competitions not even here but actually this vehicle can be useful in our actual condition, under water.
reply

Can t believe you didn t launch it
But this is the best video you ve ever made! I loved the Sherp ever since seeing it on Top Gear. That was the best episode ever too.
Brilliant stuff!

In the US amazingly enough you can drive them in most states as Rich Rebuilds drives his around even doing McDonald pickups and driving it into the the river in Cambridge MA.
reply

Interestimg fact mat: some countries use these as medevac vehicles cause they can get just about anywhere; they even come with a trailer for the back

2. 2 tons!
if u would tell any non car guy that this thing is LIGHTER than a porsche taycan and tesla model s he would shoot u

reply

PRETTIER than Cybertruck. If this thing was electric, quite and had apple/android auto, it would easily be my daily driver. Love it.
reply

ONLY 150, 000 pounds for that thing? When given the choice of a G wagon and this for the same price, I am taking this thing!
reply

I'm not sure now if I should avoid it, consider it, shortlist it or just go right ahead and buy it. Matt, please help!
