don't worry, my videos will be done in my driveway this isnt just pandering. It's very important if you are showing someone how to do something themselves that you dont skip over considerations like access, and while having a lift is certainly handy, it completely misses the fact most people need to get to things on their back, using jack stands.

I’m so happy for you but I admit to being extremely jealous as well. I live in the Netherlands, where a house with a garage of that size easily costs about 2 million euros. It’s impossible to have a car hobby here. It’s so frustrating to not be able to exercise your passion

Ive only recently starting learning about and maintaining my car properly and your videos have been exceptional. They are both informative and entertaining, and it is clear you care deeply about your audience. You deserve all the success you have and more. Cheers from England!

Hey bro if you need any drywall, Flooring, framing, molding, baseboard, texture, door and window install! Let me help you out! I got you! You saved me from thousands of dollars of repair from the shops! It's the least I can do!

These types of lifts are so awesome. When I was working on my dad’s ram 1500 we put it on one and that was the easiest way I’ve ever taken a motor out. (Not relevant but it’s got a 6. 1 built performance motor in it)

I level at home wheel char lifts about 2, 000 lbs and we use stainless steel shims because plastic can melt and degrade from chemicals I’d check level in a year or two make sure I’d be interested to know!

Congrats on the house and on the lift! It's been quite the journey.
The fact that I already would have knownhow to install this, and have the ability to, makes me feel good about my own skill set.

For further operations instructions: when operating the lift. Ensure the hand that is not pressing the switch be placed at the side of your hips, while crossing your legs to prevent injuries.

Long time viewer, can’t believe you have your own place with a sweeeeet huge garage. Congrats! I remember watching your windshield wiper brakes video almost got me on that one

It's never not funny to me watching the bolts get hammered in. I know it's the proper installation, but by God it always looks like the person doesn't have a clue what they're doing.

Wow. Im surprised they allow that concrete spec for that 2 poster. When my old workshop expanded, they had to cut 600mm x 600mm holes, and dig down 600mm for the footings.

I love those gag edits where you'll be like: Time to get something you've always dreamed about. A lift! But before you get a lift, you need a lift. Then you can get your lift

I love that you end the video by letting everyone know you'll still be showing how to work on vehicles in your driveway! Congrats on your new house with such an amazing garage!

I started watching you during the driftstang, and with watching your videos i learned a lot about cars. Glad to see that you have your own house. Keep up the good work

some people do believe hammering in bolts is a real thing and i really want to take your voting rights and driving license immediately.
you guys aren't real.

Wow, congratulations man. I started watching your vids 7 or 8 years ago and now I’m 26 and working on my car on my own. Out with the old and in with the new!

Based off the breaker panel. That house is fuxking massive. Looks like so many breakers. There has to be on for the pool pump and one for the fountain
reply

Chris Fix. Those posts for your lift are NOT level. They need to be plumb. Level means perfectly horizontal. Those posts need to be perfectly vertical.

Crazy how I was watching this dude when I was like 12 and didn't have a car then he taught me how to replace my brakes on my first car 6 years later

I also just posted a new full in-depth DIY video on how to Convert Drum Brakes to Disc Brakes! And have a new video scheduled for June 23rd 10am EST!
