How to PROPERLY Replace a Rear Windshield Yourself (No Special Tools DIY) WreckDiver99: Mercury Milan? What happened to your dad's Jag? I mean, the Milan is actually a step up from that disaster of a Jag (come on, we all know Jag's have horrid quality dating all the way back into the 60's or before. That's a damn old car too. Being an Autoglass tech for 30 years now, please don't call the backglass a windshield. This can cause issues if you call a glass shop and tell them your windshield is broken and you ment backglass.
Plus we will make fun of you and call you names: )
By the way, spot on with the install man.

Pro Tip to avoid breaking your glass:
Always close your door slowly and nicely, cause if you close your cars door really hard, it losens the glass from the force of the door and boom it can break easily!

Every one of my cars that have had the back glass break it ruins the rear deck speakers. They instantly sound blown and can never get every little piece out

Just another thing to note, rust on the window mating surface will lead to a leak. So very important that you avoid that or clean it up!
