Top Car Tools and Gadgets of 2023 (Christmas Gift Ideas) 1. Diagnostic Scanner: A high-quality diagnostic scanner is a must-have tool for any car owner. It allows you to easily identify and resolve issues with your vehicle's engine, transmission, and other systems. 2. Tire Pressure Monitoring System: This gadget monitors the air pressure in your tires, alerting you if it drops below a safe level. It not only improves safety but also helps increase fuel efficiency and tire lifespan. 3. Dash Cam: A dashboard camera records video footage of your journeys, providing evidence in case of accidents or other incidents. Many models also include features such as GPS tracking and collision detection. 4. Portable Jump Starter: Instead of relying on another vehicle to jump-start your car, a portable jump starter allows you to do it yourself. It's compact and easy to use, providing a convenient solution for unexpected battery failures. 5. OBD2 Bluetooth Adapter: This small device plugs into your car's OBD2 port and allows you to connect to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. It provides real-time data on engine performance, fuel economy, and more. 6. Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring System: A wireless tire pressure monitoring system eliminates the need for cables or wires, making installation and maintenance much easier. It still provides accurate and timely alerts for tire pressure issues. 7. Blind Spot Detection System: This gadget uses sensors to monitor the blind spots around your vehicle and warns you if another car is detected in those areas. It helps improve safety when changing lanes or maneuvering in tight spaces. 8. Keyless Entry System: A keyless entry system replaces the traditional keys and allows you to unlock and start your car with a key fob or smartphone app. It provides convenience and security, eliminating the need to carry around physical keys. 9. GPS Tracker: A GPS tracker allows you to track the location of your vehicle in real-time. It's especially useful in case of theft or if you want to monitor the whereabouts of family members who are using the car. 10. Tire Inflator with Digital Pressure Gauge: This tool combines a tire inflator and a digital pressure gauge, making it easy to inflate tires to the correct pressure. It ensures proper tire inflation, which is crucial for safety and fuel efficiency.

Wow, I want it all! Some of the previous years have had some gimicy products to be frank. I can tell you tried to be much more economically conscious with the products showing a few different price tiers but noting the trade offs. Lithium batteries increase the price of light, high output LEDs also aren't super cheap. 40 is reasonable and in line with other LED work lights. The criticism by some people over the ratchet set was pretty overboard. I like that you are doing well for yourself and don't seem to feel the need to make every dollar that you can. If your personality is actually some remarkable long con just for the cameras you're inhumanly good at it; -. Also nice garage I am envious!

Chris. You're all about safety. I would NOT put something that big and heavy (the vise) in the cab of your vehicle. In the event of a roll over. It could (whether you believe it or not) basically decapitate you. If you have a car. Put it in the trunk. If you have a truck. Put it in the bed (in the open, tool box, camper topper, tonneau cover, whatever) if you have an SUV/hatchback. Get a roof rack and put it in a case on the roof. Or install cargo anchors in the hatch and strap stuff down. (your vehicle could come with them from factory)

Have the Matco and Cornwell versions of the neck lights I just call em my headlights tho. The absolute number one perk to the neck lights when you're wearing them on your head propped up on top of the ear, the light source is so close to your eyes that they allow you to see down inside the engine bay, down in spark tubes, inside solid axle tubes, thru all the tiny gaps you gotta look thru when working on any engine.

For the adjustable oil catch can you mentioned that the 2 extenders don t have a mounted place to be stored. What I do is i take the two pieces, thread them together, and put it on the end where the old oil is removed, then I put the cap on the top of it. You can also use the two attachments to make removing the old oil like using a gas can.

You never want to change your transmission fluid without changing the filter. There is no point in changing your fluid without changing the filter. Don't ever do this. There is so many reasons the filter change is more important then the fluid change.

Wow, ChrisFix released 4 substantive videos in 2023. That's right. just 4. And 4 years on, the Del Sol still doesn't have a turbo. I know his life is extremely complicated and busy but this year was an all time low for worthwhile content. How unfortunate.

With the infrared camera, I think you should check each appliance and other devices that draw quite a bit of power and see how much energy they consume.

The thermal camera can also be VERY useful for diagnosing motherboard overheating elements into differents consoles or eletronics
