At what point does a becomes a race/drag car that has nothing to do with a street car? I mean. what exactly is Honda NSX about this car? Especially when you put STICKERS that look like vents or headlights etc. I really dont get drag cars. Tube frame + fiber glass body that is different size than the actual car. Instantly recogniseable - kind of. One and only from the sides: \ Kudos to this specidifc car as it represents the original more than the rest tho.

I just wrapped a customer's funny car she'll, I have a feeling most people don't realize how unrecognizable the inside of a drag car like this is compared to a regular car or even most track vehicles. Totally different

Its gnarly Adam is still working on this car. I recall him building this car when he was campaigning the RX7 with the same paint scheme. Were talking way back in the days of Battle of the Imports in the late 90s.

No hate to the build at all since it's hard to build a dragster but at this point it's not even an nsx anymore, it's got a v8 mounted in front of the driver. It's mostly just the shell at this point.

I watched this NSX compete against all the greats from back in the day. Lisa Kubo, Steph Papadakis, Abel Ibarra. Wow. That ride brings memories. Adam Saruwatari was the man back then. '97

it's not an NSX its an NSX fibreglass bodyshell. i doubt there is even enough of the original engine left to qualify it as an NSX. beautiful piece of engineering though.
