Dont Get RIPPED OFF Buying a Used Car Mpilo: Lol, I spent almost 2700usd buying my project 4 door '96 d15 honda civic, the trade in of 1300usd for a beaten up 1300cc vauxhall/opel/Chevrolet corsa helped at a dodgy dealer who forgot to mention a few key problems(I decided to forget to mention the problems with my trade too when I inspected the car I was buying, then spent about 200usd replacing the turbo as it was smoking, and about 400 usd replacing batteries that keep getting stolen, I didn't bother with replacing the 500 usd sound system I had installed(out of my previous car), silly me I kept replacing the battery to keep the beast (or as I like to call it, 'the lightning donkey') running, alas as it is now, it's parked while I try to gather enough money to get it a new clutch and a new battery, and passenger window.

My father gave a Grand Marquis LS Seems to me perfect. But it has two massive dents, scratches from every corner, two windows cannot be opened but don't worry they are not broken they just do not open cuz of some electric problems in the bottoms. But i still like it after all, 1- its a gift from my father2- Grand Marquis is A strong car, which means its a fantastic protection(For some reason A LOT of get away from me when i drove beside them)3- can live pretty much for too many years from what i've seen4- pretty sure you guys will help me to rebuilt my car thanks for you guys. Always supporting and keep it up.

I have a Mazda Miata in my garage right now its in good condition pop up up and down headlights and all has a color changing paint job from a glitter green to a dark blue with 17 chrome rims. Stock wood steering wheel shifter knob and center counsel. It was my moms daily but its been sitting in the garage for goin on 5 years now. Plan on reviving it taking it up Ortega highway down here in Menifee to Dana point. Nothing wrong with it just have to transfer the registration on to my name. Has a nice duel exhaust set up sounds beautiful.

While there is some really good information here, but just because a car has support from the aftermarket and parts are prevalent, does not always mean it's a good car. Why do u want to build what everyone else is. Build what u want. I have countless friends building cars they really are not into. Why spend money on something you dont want. Some maybe harder to get things you want. But more rewarding in the end

I'm a used car dealer and this actually is just about how we evaluate a car lol and nah it don't matter if you don't care if it has bad paint or a small ding because as a used car dealer we know someone will. so let's just say using these tips I've purchased cars people wanted 4/5 thousand for and bought it for 500 dollars lol good vid by the way

You forgot the all important tip to starting your search. Don't insult the seller by just texting them the dollar amount equivalent to less than half their asking price or saying Is this available? If you're gonna offer half the price, do it in person, and have the cash ready and the empty trailer ready to load it onto.

I've ignored basically everything you said in this video so far. I'm at the 4 minute mark and am thinking: Hmm. didn't do that, didn't check that, and now I have a 45 year old Fiat with no title that I've got to get a bonded title for that may or may not be restorable due to rust. Whatever happens, happens.

I like you man, but that car's worth 500-800. I would be surprised if in California a literal turd is worth about 20, but anywhere else a turd is just a turd. Cool starting point though, and it's worth what you'll pay. I hope you enjoy your new project and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Great series, nice guide, engaging host. I was actually in the process of eventually getting a daily that I can also learn how to work on myself so thanks. To nitpick the music sometimes drones out the voice and the colors seem a little too vibrant to me. So you might turn it down a little.
