Here at 2019. Can't help myself but Doug used to have funnier and better videos. Content was much more spread and exiting even thought he wasn't testing most expensive cars in the world like he does now days. Now he's making videos of even boring new cars. I still watch them as I tend to watch every Doug video and I'm from Europe so some of these new boring cars I don't even see on roads. But I loose interest and watch my phone or do something else often when watching his videos. He used to be crazy, now it's all gone for more views but the views gonna stop. It's not like he run out of cars to test. Not at all. I'm sure people would love to watch him doing crazy things with his Ford GT, Freelander or E63 wagon. I and millions of others would love to watch him test cool kei cars that are being imported to US at the moment. Etc.

I'm glad to see Doug getting off the sinking ship that is Gawker. He was easily my favorite writer at Jalopnik. I love Jalopnik but it's not looking good at Gawker. The best case scenario would be somebody buys out Jalopnik but who knows if that will happen. Jalopnik deserves better than to be saddled down and killed by Gawker. Most of Gawker Media is staffed by a bunch of whiny liberal losers and I won't be sad when they inevitably have to go out of business to pay hulk hogan.

Doug, I'm SO happy for you. You have a true talent in this. You're cool, funny, and you can afford awesome cars or you have friends with awesome cars. (for perspective, my friend drives a clean '94 corolla and I drive a decidedly unclean '96 Accord) But anyways, now you've hit it big going to a household name in automotive news and reviews. I wish I had your job

I've been sad about your leaving jalopnik, but living in denial, spending my time wrapped up in my own life, but that video really tugged at the heart strings. Best of luck on the new gig, I'll have to add it to my favorites list.

How about for the next Doug car you get something cheaper and invest in a camera that doesn't look like the quality is straight out of 2008. Still love the videos, been around since the Ferrari. Just want some better image quality

SOOOO happy for you DoughTruly enjoy your clips and love your humor. So I wish you the best, though are you still going to publish on YouTube? If not, I'll find it hard to follow you any longer. CHEERS and belssings

If you're going to be the editor of a publication called oversteer i'm gonna need to see you do some sideways action lol. Somebody get Doug in a drift car, the reaction alone would be glorious

Doug, Glad to see you aren't sinking with the SS Gawker/Denton/shitstorm. Looking forward to seeing your new work. Cheersp. s. will you be uploading videos here or Autotrader's youtube page?

Doug, I stopped reading your writing due to the recent actions of Gawker Media, so I just wanted to say I am ecstatic that you're hosting your writing at autotrader Can't wait to read

Good. The last i saw of Jalopnik it was mostly comprised of clickbait and whiney losers, and that was before Gawker was sinking. Everyone has to recognize when they're on a sinking ship.
