The Dodge Ram SRT-10 is the ultimate performance pickup truck. Today I'm reviewing a Ram SRT-10 to show you why it's so great -- and why it was such a special truck. I'm also going to drive the Dodge Ram SRT-10 to show you what it's like on the road. TornadoTJ: In that era, a Chrysler vehicle with a gray key had a chip in the key for starter enable, the black keys were for vehicles that did not have this feature. You would not get one gray and one black key, but you would see a vehicle with two gray keys, then a similar one next to it with two black keys, depending on if that option was ordered or not. It was not unusual for Dodge trucks to have manual shifters, look at the 2500 and 3500 models with Cummins diesels up to about 2014. In fact, for many years, the only way you could get the more powerful HO engine was to get a manual shifter, that plus the 2500 and 3500s are often work trucks, it can make more sense to have the manual to get a granny gear. And, I owned a 2003 and later a 2006 with manual shifters, and yes that is where the emergency brake pedal was, and many hundreds of thousands of miles, and I never once had a problem with it being there. The middle seat is actually usable in a pinch. Nobody kicks the shifter, their legs hang down too far in the front for their feet to be an issue.

RAM is my favorite truck brand The competition doesn't impress me. The Sierra Denali has way too much chrome for my taste which makes me want the AT4. Still no matter which one you get, it's got a dated interior. The Silverado has the same interior problem as the Sierra. The exterior is ugly, too 2018 looked way cleaner. The F-150 is too boxy for me and reminds me of trucks from the 80s. It's interior is also pretty dull.

I bought a 2004 2500 Cummins instead of this SRT-10 which my wife had approved. I am glad I bought the Cummins as it was WAY more powerful after a few mods. (1000 ft. lbs torque) Also, your rant about the parking brake peddle is way off base. I have a stick and have never confused the p. brake peddle for the clutch. Quit your wining

What 2004 pickup truck had premium materials. Most are still hard touch plastic. CHEVY. My moms 2002 Sebring convertible has soft touch surfaces all over the interior including THE BACK SEATS. No convertible has soft touch services on the back seals Chrysler didnt get bad interiors till 2007.

Doug the type of guy to not know that the middle seat in a stick shift truck was designed specifically for southern boys like me to put our girlfriends in that seat. then stay in 2nd or 4th all day: ) before woke culture and #metoo the ladies loved it.

That parking brake setup is the same in my 5 speed ranger. Its honestly pretty easy not to confuse the 2 because it sits so much higher than the pedals, granted the truck is small and everything is cramped so it might be easier in a bigger truck like this.

Dont try to buy a car from this place. Theyll ignore you, continue to not pick up their phones or answer emails, and then ignore you some more. And IF youre lucky enough to get a response from them, theyre unhelpful and completely uninterested in your business.

The reason the key is gray is because its a chipped key for anti theft. Not every dodge vehicle back then came with anti theft. The regular key thats not chipped is black. And yes I have an 05 SRT-10.

My dad has a 99 Tacoma SR5 extra cab manual and it had the bench seat too. I remember as a kid sitting with both legs in the passenger side to avoid messing with his shifting. Not a comfortable ride for sure.

Didnt mention the seats are different and the subwoofer. The curtain airbags was in all of them they just placed em in bad spot. Is the rear end the same as viper? Does it have traction control?
