I visited my sister in Indianapolis back in 1976 and got to drive the around the RaceWay in a police car! (my sister was married to a policeman) the day before the big race.
I got inspired and and 2 years later bought a 1967 Camaro with a Corvette V-8. 30 over sized pistons, 12 inch clutch plate, solid lifters, racing cam, suicide inline standard shift stick and 4 speed transmission, interceptor high speed rear end, and Mickey Thomson 12 inch wide rear tires and Cragar mags wheels.
It was the best car I have ever driven! The differential had was so much difference than anything I have seen since. For example: I was stopped for going 92 miles an hour - I was only in second gear at the time. I ask the policeman to give me ticket for 69 in a 55? and he did - because I promised to pay the ticket instead of a multiple continuance court trial.
The average cruising speed was 90 miles per hour at 2k rpm. Only got about 18 mpg, but it was worth it. The car weighted a bit over 2. 000 pounds.

Oh dang, I almost got a ticket for going 175 mpg - they did not find me that time.

Hey Scotti I don't know where we are suppose to post questions, but here goes mine. My bestfriend dad has owns a 09 Mitsubishi eclipse gs with a manual transmission. His dad owns a few other cars and hasn't barely driven the car so he wants to get rid of it. The car is in immaculate condition with great service records. The car has 55000 miles on it. One owner car, his dad. They want 5500 dollars. It seems like a good deal, but I can't find a similar car due to it having so few miles. What do you think? Thanks.

I bet its possible. However, what you end up with has no resemblance with a stock celica. Think dragster engine, x amount of 1000 hps, crazy tires, super beefed up suspension, reinforced everything, a big hole in the hood to even fit the engine, also you wont be able to fit a AC or anything. But i bet it is possible.

Good video, You might not beat it going fast enough in your Celica but you can beat it lasting the longest bet you can get the 94 Celica to 500, 000 miles an still runs great bugtti will probably brake down alot an cost Way to much to fix forgot about it I can buy a lot of Toyotas an Honda's for the price of that

Hey Scotty you always have good things to say about Toyota and Honda running a long time but I have a 2008 Chrysler Sebring 2. 4 with 278000 miles and it still runs like a clock. The suspension isn't in the best shape. But it starts up great, shifts fine. Is this just luck or is the 2. 4 is really that reliable?

Hey scotty i have a 1986 Cutlass supreme and when i try to use my turn signals the arrow indicator does not show up and my blinkers dont work. When i take my bulbs out the arrow indicator shows obviously there is a bulb out. whats wrong with the turn signal please or anyone else on here who has an idea

That fact that Scotty didn t pop up to say if the buggati was bad suprised me even tho he sed it in the past I m sure I m just still suprised also I was hoping for more of thos animal laugh pictures everytime u laugh they sometimes pop up
