This is the trip of a lifetime. As far as internet goes. I think you would need a satellite box. They are not cheap and the speed isn't that great. The only real benefit would be that it would give you the ability to make a call as well. Your best bet might be to spend that time editing the videos while in the tent. Then upload them while eating in town or your nights in hotels. Then you can upload a couple of videos or more and get caught up. Scheduled the videos to post on different days. They buys you time and keeps coming back. If you will be in a lot of remote areas you could get a Spot. Family can see where you are and you can press a button for emergency services. It will send out your GPS signal. Some use them on road trips because they can let their audience follow them online with it. They turn them off the signal for that service before getting to their destination so they are a little safer.

I have done a 9700 mile road trip this year. I had 3 different rental cars because of 2 critical damages: the windshield totally broke and a tire was damaged (but still driveable if i filled air once a day. Becaue of the Loss and damage waiver that was no problem. This could add some additional cost to your road trip (even if You have a comprehensive coverage) -- these kind of repairs are quite expensive if You drive a special car like a Lambo. I would advise you to take the TT or even rent a car. 1000 a month for rental car is definitely a good alternative as you dont have depreceation and maintenace. Just some thougts of mine. Best regards from Germany.

there is no type of device except a satellite that can give you internet access in the middle of no where. My suggestion would be to BUFFER. Plan the uploads just like you'd plan anything else. Drive film edit for at least two weeks and upload all to youtube while you can, but don't make public. Then you only need to set the videos to go public. FYI that battery is just for jump starts, no real capacity. Get a proper sealed lead acid car battery, and make it charge off your cars 12v circuit while driving. Get at least 60-100Amp hour. Store it in the front trunk, just take your drone out of it's box and it would all fit.

if you could accept that mother nature simply has no wifi and no internet an no such thing it could be an even more adventurous and refreshing experience. You could really get everything off your mind which is possibly bothering you. Btw. I really like your idea of using that great car instead of just thinking about depreciation and neat paint. If someone does not dare to use his car, he simply can't afford it. I' really looking forward to your roadtrip reports.

Man thumbs up, but to be completely honest did you also thought about the security? You shout take at least one gun with you and you should but GPS tracker in the Lambo. about the internet your best bet is wifi hotspot device from multiple provides, if one if off or slow go for other but in same ares you will be completely off, that could be solved by satellite connection but that expensive like crazy for personal use not fast enough.

Can't wait to watch this trip. You're the most different (I'm not sure how to put it) Lamborghini owner out there. If I never watched your videos and met you in public, I'd honestly think you'd drive a Prius or a Corolla and just live life day to day. Oh and btw. Simple Mobile has unlimited 4GLTE (it is always 4g, doesn't downgrade to 3 or 2g) for 60 a month. You can get a hotspot or use it on a phone. I work at a phone shop.

With these rather lonesome road trips, do you ever find yourself talking to yourself, apart from when you're vlogging. 'cos that's to us. obviously. It is very interesting to hear what you have to say, James T Stradman. Dya think you could give Tim Shmee150 some tips on how to be a little more succinct and descriptive, and allow the pictures on the vid to do more of the talking. (Bless him.

So your not going to be able to create a hotspot, its not physically possible. Even if you can create your own node/hotspot there won't be any nodes around to carry your data to where you want to go. If I were you, I'd carry a fairly large external hard drive and just upload when you get back or when you can find internet.
