Stradman, I dont think the engine light is a problem. It just say that its a miss-match between 2 different types of pressure calculations. As the absolute pressure takes the atmospheric pressure (a calibrated value) plus the gauge pressure and the barometric pressure just measure the gauge pressure they are going to be different as the calibrated value for the atmosphere is normally around 1 bar(g. But when your up in the mountain its no longer 1 bar(g) so the pressure measurement doesn't know why its different. You can say its out of its original limit as its built to measure around the atmospheric pressure.

Do you think it's imperative for you to own a car that gives you so much stress because is way out of your budget? You seem to dislike any normal ride but it's seems to me you don't have the finances to really enjoy rides like this. I love your knowledge and geeky quick info when you spot supercars and you are able to describe vehicles in an insightful way. I just wonder if you would be in much better shape and closer to your dream of owning a supercars boutique shop if you didn't have to suffer a Lamborghini ownership costs. Keep up the post. love the camping/lambo setups BTW.

The light came up because the elevation. As you go higher and higher the surroundig airpressure decreases and same with the oxigen levels. Since the engines use oxigen to ignite the fuel it is critical to have enough of it. If the oxigenlevels drops too much the engine won't be able to ignite the fuel causing the engine struggle to make power. (this is way more hard on N/A engines. Another effect of the high altitudes is that the water boils much quicker and it causes overheating in the engine.

Have you considered trying to get sponsorship for your road trip? IIRC you were going to wrap the car anyways, so you could also sell car space for advertising decals. You might be able to get the maintenance/tires/etc or even just straight cash to help offset the costs of the trip. Not really anything you can do about depreciation, but if you could offset some of the other costs it might make it more reasonable to go for it.

Love the views, grew up and lived in Northern Nevada for over 50 years. You say there is nothing there, You just don't know what to look for. There is so much there but you need to know where to go and look. As for the MAP sensor if your at 10, 000 and it is 90 Deg. the Density Altitude could be as high as 18, 000. Your car suffers from High altitude sickness. Nothing to worry about.

Love this kind of videos and you film and edit them really well with great storytelling Would be fun hiking with you cause I'm the same, in awe all the time, just in love with nature: )

Just do the trip in the TT then do another when financial circumstances are better. What's important to you, the trip itself or the trip in a supercar. Just like now after 9 years you have only just decided to take a scenic route, there's more than one trip you could do. Do the TT trial run, maybe a mini trip say 5k in either TT or Gallardo. Plenty of options you could do.

2500 miles, what a tripDon't get hung up about the mileage, do the roadtrip. If you're going to get worried about putting mileage on a supercar you'll never do the roadtrip you're dreaming of and one day you'll be in your 40s with kids and a mortgage driving around in a Honda wishing you'd done it when you had the chance.

stop bull shitting saying depreciation on your car is one of the reasons you cant do a road trip, its a nice car but keeping it all cooped up like its an investment makes me wonder if you really should of bought one, and if you can afford it but cant afford running cost you should re consider what car you own.
